"Is the new girl coming today?" Jake asked. We were sitting in tutor. It was a Monday morning. An early Monday morning. My tutor glared over to Jake.

"Yes, she is."

"What's her name?" Joseph, another boy in my class asked. She thought for a moment.

"Her name is Hollie. She will be shadowing Taylor." Everyone turned to look at Taylor, who sat there unfazed with a sly grin.

"When will she join us?" Joseph asked.

"Someone will bring her up in a-" Miss started but was interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Come in." She called. We all turned to look at the door.

A lady from the office and a girl with dirty blonde hair stepped through the door. Miss walked up to the lady and started talking to her. I took this time to look at Hollie's appearance. She was wearing a short denim skirt, short enough to be a belt. It had glitter stripes on it. Her white top, if you could call it a top, finished above her bellybutton, showing the piercing. It had the words 'I DON'T GIVE A *BEEP*' written across the front in hot pink. Her dirty blonde hair was tied up into a messy bun with about a thousand clips. She had neon pink converses with a black bag that had a laughing face on it. She had it casually over her shoulder, as she tapped her foot, waiting impatiently. I stifled a laugh, this was what me and Taylor called a 'Desperate slut.' Taylor hated them most.

"Guys, this is Hollie. Make her feel welcome. Taylor can you come here for a second."

Taylor hadn't turned around until now. Her jaw dropped but she quickly composed herself. Her eyes widened when she walked past me. I grinned at her and she rolled her eyes. She walked up to Hollie and she shook her head in disgust. This was gonna be interesting.

*-*

Ten minutes later, tutor was over. Hollie had gone and sat next to Taylor and had talked non-stop. All she talked about was what she liked. Taylor hated all of that. Hollie kept trying to make her favourite things sound interesting. Taylor wasn't impressed at all. As soon as Miss dismissed us, Taylor shot up from her seat and rushed over to me. She pulled on my arm, leading me out of the classroom. I started laughing.

"What?" Taylor asked.

"Nothing." I said, calming down.

Taylor was about to reply, but was cut of by Hollie.

"Taylor, wait up. Wait up." She shouted.

Taylor turned me with a panicked look. I just shrugged my shoulders. Hollie appeared next to Taylor, smiling creepily.

"Taylor." Someone called.

We all turned around to see a friend of Taylor's sister calling her. She nodded at me and I pushed her off in that direction, laughing at her reaction.

"What you laughing at?" Hollie asked.

"Nothing." She started laughing. "What you laughing at?" I asked, grinning slightly.

"Oh, it's just that, " she started.

"I can tell you poor by the way you cling onto Taylor. But I didn't know your really poor that they had to turn off your electricity and you got changed in the dark this morning." She finished, smirking down at me.

My jaw dropped, but I composed myself. "Excuse ME? What did you just say?" I asked, raising my voice.

She just shook her head. "Yeah, you heard me. Your a poor, pathetic waste. No likes you. Not Taylor. Not even you're poor family. You-"

"You might wanna stop there." I intervened, stepping up to her.

"Or your gonna find yourself battered and bruised and crying for your mummy." I said, anger clear in my voice. Something flashed through her eyes at the word 'mum'. Whatever it was- something I HAD to find out- went as quickly as it came.

"Ohh, I'm so scared. Your aw weak pathetic wimp who couldn't -" She started but Taylor had come back over.

"You will make some enemies, for sure. You just gotta learn to deal with it. And remember, do not mess with them, no matter what they did." I finished for her, venom in my voice.

She shook her head as she pulled Taylor from me and pushed her out of the door. Taylor turned around, shouting for me to catch up and why I was just standing here. I ignored her calls, as Hollie pulled her away. Thoughts were running through my head, only one stood out- what the hell just happened?
