Y/N's red eyes glared sharply into another pair as she began to slowly walk to the side. Their eyes never broke apart and Kurimi frowned with her needle-like finger lifting, doing the same as her; they both were walking now, creating a circle in their paths. "The Great Hateshiganai will fulfill his destiny... You're a threat to him and I was ordered to eliminate you," Kurmi said in a lowered voice. The others felt like they were in suspense, they could go all out at any moment and that put them over the edge a bit.

When were they supposed to take cover? How far away are they supposed to be for them to fight? Those questions wafted through their minds as they kept their eyes peeled on their friend.

"Where's Asashi...?" Y/N, completely ignoring Kurimi's threat, preferred to worry about another matter than the one in front of her. Not caring about fighting all too much considering her friends weren't harmed yet. Kurimi blinked with wide eyes, surprised that Y/N had just ignored her.

"He's...well, I don't know. He followed us but now he's gone," Sango spoke up and glanced over at Miroku for some answers.

"Last time I checked, while we ran for it after Obsidian decided to take down that thing, he whispered to me that he'll be back. I don't know where he went but he said he'd be back and that he had to do something. This was before we encountered that fox, too," Miroku answered and had a contemplative stare on his face.

"Whatever the reason, don't worry too much about him. He'll be back, I'm sure of it," Shippo reassured Y/N with a serious stare and tightened his fingers on some solar talismans that he pulled out of his robes.

"Thanks..." Y/N began and lifted her pistols, still having that small cube between her clamped teeth. "If there's nothing that I can do to make you change your mind and if you insist on trying to hurt my friends even though you haven't yet, then I'll have to use my fly-swatter on you; a figure of speech..." she added and scowled. One of her pistols pointed up at Kurimi and its glowing features lit up a small portion of the surrounding darkness. I'll have to wait until the sun's up for me to use the solar flares... Damn, you'd think I'd still be able to even when the sun's on the other side of the planet! I guess it just needs to be closer for me to grab one of the flares...tch. she mentally said and focused on the woman before her. They both stopped dead in their tracks and eyed each other like in some old western film.

"My, you certainly seem to have more resolve in your eyes than before," Kurimi smirked and got into an elegant stance. "Nothing will change my mind... I'd rather die by your hands than get killed by the Great Hateshiganai..." she added with a bit of mourn. She saw that walking armageddon with her own eyes, the vibe she got from it, everything, and yet she still assumes it's a guy considering its gender preference.

"Fine, have it your way..." Y/N answered, knelt down, put one pistol on the ground, and dug into her pocket. Out came her music device, clamping it onto the lip of her bottoms after choosing a song, and securing it so it wouldn't fall. "I don't want to kill you, but if it means keeping my friends safe then fine," she added, closed her red eyes, and popped her neck from side to side.
