A/N: Sorry, this is a bit short but I hope you like it!

As they walked down the path, Y/N watched the clouds in the sky pass by. Viewing their fluffiness and the sun beaming through the silver lining. Thoughts swarmed her mind as she walked, regarding her parents and her race. Everything was drowned out, her was mind full of hidden questions that were left unanswered.

Muffled voices could only be heard, but she paid no mind to who it was until someone tugged on her hand slightly. That snapped her out of her thoughts, making her blink and look down. It was Rin, her innocent round eyes stared curiously up at her and concerned features were present. "Y/N, are you ok?" she was adorable, it made the young girl coo inside.

A smile graced her lips before speaking and her alien e/c eyes expressed reassurance. "Yeah, why do you ask?" questioning with hidden concern, Rin knitted her brows as they continued to walk.

"You haven't been talking much and you keep staring at the sky," her worried voice was noticed by Y/N and she stepped closer to her. "You don't look okay..." Rin's mumbled reply caused Sesshomaru to peek over his shoulder and glance at the alien girl.

"A lot's just on my mind, Rin. Thanks for worrying though, I'm fine," her smile remained and she patted the little girl's head reassuringly. The child just left her be after that, not wanting to pry since she felt Y/N didn't want to tell her.

Once she looked back up and was about to view the sky again, Sesshomaru spoke up which caught their attention.

"Jaken... Take A-Un somewhere and hide him, we're nearing a village..." His words were absolute and the said imp obliged regardless.

"Of course, my lord!" With haste, Jaken ran over to A-Uh, who stood next to Y/N and Rin, and began tugging on the reigns with some effort. That dragon just stood there watching the imp struggle, so was the little girl and Y/N. Aside from Rin, the other two were just sweatdropping at the pathetic sight. "Come on, you overgrown beast! Must you do this every time?! You're so useless!" he angrily shouted, the young woman knew that A-Un was doing it on purpose, so she covered her mouth to stifle her laughter.

It was amusing really... Just seeing something or someone so tiny...to try and drag something away that was so much bigger, was hilarious. It was like seeing a cute, tiny chibi to try and drag away a gigantic donut that was far bigger than its body. Just when Jaken was finally using all of his strength to pull on the reigns, A-Un simply stood up and caused the imp to fall down on his butt. With an oof escaping his lips, the imp grumbled furiously. His eyes narrowed and his body shook from anger. "WHY, YOU STUPID-" After he stood up, he was about to slash his fury out, if Sesshomaru hadn't said anything.

"Jaken...!" The lordship hollered, making the imp freeze in place, and nervously look over at him.

Now that Jaken FINALLY managed to get A-Un hidden, Y/N, Rin, him, and Sesshomaru were seen wandering towards the entrance of the place. Y/N was still stifling her giggles, the child had joined in on it too and that only angered the green bean even more. "Will you two STOP your pointless laughter?! You are such imbeciles! Show more respect! Neither of you could have made that dragon obey you! If it wasn't for me, you two would have been given that job instead! You ought to be grateful! You are so useless! Trying to get that stubborn beast to move would've taken a lot longer if you had done it!" Jaken fumed, his face was red out of embarrassment and the two couldn't help but to hold back more laughs; well, at least for Y/N, Rin let it all out and giggled. Y/N had to put both hands on her mouth now, her face was turning red from humor that she looked like she would explode any minute.

Something caught her attention though and made her stop laughing, she hasn't seen Obsidian anywhere... And when she looked around, there were no signs of him. "Hey, um... Where's Batman?" her question made everyone halt in their tracks and Sesshi answered.

"Feeding..." With that, the dog demon carried on down towards the entrance and Y/N had wide eyes, blue lines down her head, and gulped.

Rin saw that and knitted her brows, goosebump ran up Y/N's spine at the image of Obsidian drinking someone's blood like a vampire. "Y/N?" Worry filled her voice after she asked, then tugged on her blouse as any child would.

I hope he's eating bugs... she said in her mind. That thought wasn't any better, but at least it sounded nicer than hearing that he drank blood from someone... She snapped out of her thoughts and looked down, smiling reassuringly at the child. "It's fine, let's go. I just hope Obsidian doesn't go hungry later today and decide to be a vampire of the night..." she sweatdropped with squinted eyes and walked onward, having Rin follow along with a puzzling feature. Rin didn't dare question her words though, she figured vampires were just something from her world.

Once they stepped foot in the village, so many villagers whispered in shock, fear, and awe as they watched the lordship make his way through. Fingers pointed towards him, Y/N, Jaken, and Rin. Soon they all got out of their way and stood on the sidelines, inaudible words came from one of the villagers when he mentioned something about go warn him. Sesshomaru's ears twitched and picked up on those words, making him peek over his shoulder and glare his golden eyes at the person.

As if on cue, he vanished and appeared before a man that seemed to be in his forties. That startled the guy, he quivered in his spot and stared fearfully up at the western lordship. "Warn who...?" Normally he wouldn't care what the humans would do or inform someone of, they were no threat to him and he could easily slaughter them all. However, protecting Y/N for the sake of this world and from the villainous creature who would show their face in the future, made him grow suspicious.

"T-T-T-T-The chief of our village! W-Why?!" Fear-struck, the man stepped back and pressed his backside against the outside wall of a house. That didn't interest Sesshi, so he just turned around and ignored the quivering man who seemed to have hunkered down towards the ground. The western land's lordship, he's here! I need to go tell our chief! he spoke in his mind, as he watched Sesshomaru's back grow smaller the more he walked away. Quickly he ran away, rushing over past Sessho and heading down to the middle of the village. When he made it to a specific house, he rushed the doors open and rose his panicked voice. "Chief, the lord of the western lands is here!" This alerted someone who was sitting in the shadows against the wall.

The chief's silhouette moved slightly, he looked pretty beefy... Not with fat, but with muscle. Anyone could tell he was muscular just by how his figure looked in the shadows. "Good... Is he alone...?" A gravelly, low voice questioned the villager and the man replied with yes and explained who all was with him. "Hm, interesting. So a woman that doesn't even appear to be from here and wears foreign clothing, is traveling with his group. A young woman... Hm..." he was even more interested now and stood up from his sitting position. He walked out of the shadows and revealed... A young man who looked really muscular and if looks could kill, he'd be murdering people without even trying. "Lead me to her..." he demanded and smirked a toothy grin, as his eyes glowed red.
