Complications

You know why we prefer complicated over simple
We often say we don't want something complicated
Cause it gets us exhausted
It makes us feel drain

But we often find ourselves in situations that are complicated
You want to know why
It's because we are humans
It is who we are
We live by a rule that's say dont expose emotions but we put ourselves in situations where we are demanded to feel them or else we forget our humanity

Complications demands you to feel
It demands you to expose and face your emotions
And more often then not you don't know exactly what you want or what you feel
You feel complicated right
You feel exhausted
That's what complications do to you

You go with the flow for so long you forgot what is it like to have the rush of rollercoaster emotions
You forgot how easy is it for you to settle for something that's half your worth
You forgot how easy is it to convince yourself
You forgot
How easy is it to be nothing

Complications are difficult life situations that puts you in the spot
So you have no choice but to be there
In the moment
No hiding
All in the open

Complications rips your heart open and demands you to see it
In its vulnerability
In its glory

We love complications
But we settle for simple

For as long as I live
I will never settle that's let me accepts my fate as it is
