School trip (Nikei x reader)

  You might guess... no request, no killing game, no non-simping. The trip is still on Usturoshima.

 It was time for the most waited event of your school life... the school trip. It was planned a very long time ago and suggested by a weird looking walking and talking rabbit named Usami. She was meant to be your guide on the five islands.

 You weren't that excited about the trip itself, but you were happy to hang out with your dear Nikei more since he's always busy. Now both of you have a lot of time to spend together. It's not like you have anything better to do, besides Usami requesting you all to collect hope fragments from everyone. The hope fragments were stored on a tablet that each student owned.

 'Hey, Nikei!' you whispered as Usami was still explaining.

 'Yes, sweetie?' Nikei whispered back.

 'I have an idea.' you said with a smug look on your face. 'We can hang out in groups of three and get the hope fragments faster. After that we can hang out. Only us two.'

 Nikei blushed a bit at the idea of you two being alone to hang out. 'A-alright. Let's ask Usami about it.'

 After Usami was done talking, you and Nikei approached the rabbit to ask about your idea. She was in a bit of a thought, but denied the idea.

 'Come on, miss Usami! We can get the hope fragments faster AND we can make group of friends. More people, more friends.' you explained frantically.

 'Yeah, we can become friends even faster that way.' Nikei joined.

 'Hmm, you both have a point.' Usami said rubbing her chin with her wand. 'Alright. Alright. Who am I to stop you from having fun together?!' Usami smiled.

 You both thanked her and went to find someone to hang out. The closest person that you two knew was Emma. You explained the agreement with Usami to Emma and she seemed happy.

 'Oh that way we can play cards and it will be more fun' Emma said.

 'See! We got this ace up our sleeves.' you said as you pulled a deck of cards from practically nowhere (author magic)

 Emma laughed, but Nikei just rolled his eyes. He really doesn't like puns, especially Emma's, but he will put up with yours. 

 You both hung out with Emma until you got her hope fragments, then Shinji, then Hajime, then Sora, etc, etc.

 It was time for you to get each other's hope fragments. You decided to hang out on the beach.

 'Why the beach?' Nikei asked. 'We can swim and splish-splash around.' you said happily. Nikei could only agree since he likes splishing and splashing, especially with you. Both of you went to your rooms to get your swim wear. The water wasn't cold, but it wasn't warm either, so you had a hard time getting used to the water's temperature. Suddenly you were in the water. 

 'NIKEI! You dick!' you yelled. Nikei just laughed (like an asshole) and just went underwater. The water wasn't that clear, so you didn't see where he was, but you felt a hand grabbing your leg and you started kicking. Nikei came up and had a red mark on his face.

 'Did you just kick me?' he was pissed. 'Did you just grab my leg?' you weren't happy either.

 He lunged at you and you both fell in the water. While underwater he gave you a quick kiss. You forgot you were underwater and took a small breath. He pulled you out of the water quick and you were chocking. 

 'I'm so sorry, Y/N.' Nikei said apologetically. 'Are you ok?'

 'I am now.' you said still chocking. 

 'Hey, I think you might need to rest for a bit.' Nikei said worried. 'I'll get you to your room.' Nikei pulled you out of the water. You both went to your room and spent more time there cuddling and kissing. Nikei was really worried about you so he gave you extra cuddles.

 To the end of the day, you each got two hope fragments. 

 Since you weren't allowed to sleep in each other's room, you just slept in your room. The first thing after getting ready you went to the cafeteria to eat breakfast, but someone was already at your door. Of course it was Nikei. He greeted you with a morning kiss and a hug.

 'Morning, sweetie!' you said sleepily.

 'Good morning, little sunshine!' he said happily. 'I'm really excited for today.' he said. 'Why?' you asked curious, but still sleepy. 'Today we are going to the fifth island. It's an urban area. I would really love to interview the Utsuroshima folks about the island. I want to see their perspective on how things work around here.' he said getting more and more excited.

 You giggled a little and held his hand to got to the cafeteria together. You both ate something quick then were rushed by Usami to get in the bus. The road for the fifth island was a little longer so people started falling asleep. Nikei also fell asleep with his head leaning on your head. He even clang onto your arm like a small koala. You found it so adorable that you needed to take a picture. He saw quietly snoring.

 You felt a bit tired as well and decided to close your eyes for a second before the driver hit the breaks hard.

 'DAMN YOU SMALL BEAR!!!' the green-haired driver yelled at a half black half white bear.

 Nikei woke up all drooly and sleepy and looked around to see what was happening. You were close to the new attraction. Nikei was already shaking in excitement. He already saw a bunch of "interviewable" people.

 Once we got out of the bus, Usami lined us and we went to a museum. It wasn't that bad, but you did feel a bit bored. You wanted to hold Nikei's hand, but he had his hands busy with the pen and paper. He looked cute looking for his scoops.

 After the museum trip you just went back to the housing to rest a bit, then you had a lot of free time. You went to Nikei's door to hang out with him. You both decided to just cuddle and watch a movie on one of your tablets.

 The trip ended the next day once everyone collected all of the hope fragments. It felt good to just hang out with your classmates and Nikei.

 'We should have more trips like that' Nikei said. 'It was both educational and entertaining.'

 'And of course we got to show more affection.' you said softly.

 'That was the best part.' Nikei beamed with a smile.

 You were happy that you got to hang out with everyone.
