Daisy got her driver's license today and since her parents weren't going to buy her a car as a gift, she bought her own car. Daisy's been saving up for her whole life for college but now that she threw that dream into the trash, she decided to spend part of her college money on a new car.
Just like the one she stole a few days ago, this one was a convertible. But this car was a navy blue, Daisy's favorite color, and she decorated the inside, so there were fuzzy rugs on the floor of the car and a pair of dice hanging from the rear view mirror.
In the late afternoon, after she finished with her test and decorating her car, the brunette pulled up to James' house. She strolled up to the door in a tube top and jean shorts when she rang the doorbell.
It's safe to say that she was a bit surprised when an older woman with dark hair and a pleasant smile greeted her. "Hello ma'am," Daisy said politely. "I was wondering if James and Sirius were home."
"Oh, they're out right now but they'll be back in a few minutes. At least, that's what I'd expect," she replied kindly. "You must be the Evans girl that James and Sirius talk about."
"I'm afraid not," Daisy laughed easily. "That would be my sister, Lily. I'm the other Evans, you probably haven't heard of me. Daisy Evans."
"Who's Lily?" The woman's face looked innocent like she genuinely didn't know and Daisy just smiled again.
"James' ex girlfriend?" the brunette answered. "I'm sorry, what did you say your name was?"
"Oh, silly me, I should've introduced myself sooner," she said, "I'm Euphemia Potter. James' and Sirius' mother." Daisy nodded with a polite smile. "Would you like to come in? They'll be back soon and I'm sure they'd be happy to see you."
"Sure, I would love to," Daisy responded, not wanting to sound rude. Euphemia opened the door more and led Daisy to their living room. Euphemia sat on an armchair while Daisy sat on the edge of a couch and they quietly conversed for a few minutes before James, Sirius, and an older man appeared at the fireplace in a poof of smoke.
"Evans!" James exclaimed. "What're you doing here?"
"I blew half of my college money and I thought you guys would like to know!" Daisy stated bluntly, copying his enthusiasm. James' face immediately paled.
"You did what?!" he shrieked worriedly. "It's fine, everything's completely fine! If you need it, we can give you some money, don't worry about it. It's fine! It's fine! What did you even spend that on?"
"I'm Fleamont Potter, by the way," the older man introduced himself while James started wildly pacing around the room. "Their father."
He stuck his hand out and Daisy shook it firmly. "Daisy Evans. Pleasure."
"Please tell me you bought a motorcycle," Sirius prayed aloud.
"Close," Daisy commented. "Come on." She grabbed Sirius' hand and James' hand, preventing the bespectacled boy from pacing anymore, and she brought them outside.
"Woah," Sirius gaped. He let go of Daisy's hand and sprinted towards the convertible while James grabbed his head in shock.
"You spent your college money on that!?" he yelled. "Omigod! You've destroyed your future, Daisy! It's fine, you can always live with me-"
Meanwhile, Sirius was jumping up and down excitedly while running circles around Daisy's car, kneeling at the wheels and looking at the license plate.
"I don't have to go to college, remember? I've got the acting gig," Daisy reminded him. Unless the acting gig failed, then Daisy would surely be fucked.
