"What, Potter?" Lily scowled. She'd opened the front door at 9 in the night, after the sun had set, and she did not expect James to come and win her over again this late. She acted like she hated him so much but if James just said a heartfelt apology a few more times, then Lily would surely date him again.

"I'm not here for you, Evans," James smiled politely. "You think so highly of yourself, don't you?"

Lily's jaw dropped and she closed her mouth, then opened it again like a fish out of water. She couldn't seem to form words and James stuffed his hands into the pockets of his denim jacket. Lily expected him to realize what he said and profusely apologize but James just pursed his lips together, not thinking he did anything wrong. After all, he only spoke his mind.

Behind him were Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, all snickering at James' bluntness. Remus and Peter never met Daisy yet and both James and Sirius droned on about her so they thought it was about time they met.

"Is Daisy here?" James asked.

"Yes, and what about it?" Lily shot back. James did something that Lily never thought she would see in a million years coming from him. He rolled his eyes.

He never noticed how idiotic Lily acted until he met Daisy. He started to realize the small things, how she acted towards her sister or how she acted like she was above everyone else. Maybe James did notice it, but he just didn't want to believe that there were so many bothersome things about Lily Evans until now.

"Based on my last two comments, it's not that hard to put two and two together, Evans. I'm here for your sister," he explained briefly. "Can you get her?"

"Yeah, fine. Whatever," the redhead scoffed. She closed the front door again and frowned as she walked up the stairs, to Daisy's room. The girl knocked on the door and a few seconds later, Daisy opened it. "Your friends are here to see you."

"Thanks," her older sister replied. She grabbed a bottle of tequila and hid it under her denim jacket as she skipped down the stairs and opened the door, not expecting to see two more teenage boys. "Hello. I'm Daisy Evans."

"Nice to meet you," Remus said nicely. "I'm Remus Lupin and that's Peter Pettigrew. We're James' and Sirius' roommates."

Remus was an attractive boy, the tallest in the group, and the most mature. He had soft brown eyes and sandy blonde hair, along with three mysterious claw marks on his face. Peter was a short boy, with straw-like blonde hair and pale blue eyes.

"I'll be back," Daisy shouted into her home, not really caring if anyone heard. As always, there was no response and Daisy stepped out of her house.

"What's with the dress?" James asked as his favorite Evans girl closed the front door. They began to walk down the street and Daisy looked down at her dress.

She was wearing a fancy, white, sleeveless dress that went down to her ankles and would've been dragging along the dirty pavement if she hadn't worn black Doc Martens with platforms.

"I'm practicing for my wedding, duh," Daisy said, as if it were obvious. She skipped in front of the group and turned around, walking backwards. "What do we think about the dress? Imagine this bottle is my bouquet of flowers I hold when I walk down the aisle."

She held the tequila in front of her and looked between the four boys, waiting for a reaction or some positive feedback. Sirius was holding back a laugh as he took a pack of cigarettes out of his black leather jacket and lit one of them.

"I like it," Remus shrugged. He lowered his voice and leaned over to Sirius. "Is she engaged or something?" he whispered.

"No," Sirius chuckled, a glimmer in his dark grey eyes as he watched Daisy twirl around. "She just does it to do it."
