it had been a couple more months with the phantom troupe, chrollo and y/n were trying to locate the dealer who had tried to hire y/n to kill the phantom troupe.

everytime, they failed. so eventually the two of them had given up.

y/n's pov

chrollo and i had been together for a couple months now, but i was starting to catch up on something.

every morning chrollo would leave by himself, at around 4 AM.

he even told me he had business, but of course i wouldn't believe that.

he came home in a faint smell that i had never smelt before. he would always ignore me.

i dont know what was up with him, but i can't just sit around and act like its nothing. either i do it now or ill never know.

i was nervous to see what he did at 4 in the morning, and come back at 3pm.

it horrified me every night, and now, today is the day that i will be sneaking out and finding out what he really does.

i ate a good meal, some ramen and veggies. to be honest, i only ate the food for getting it out of my mind. it worked, but only for 10 minutes.

when chrollo had came back to the base i went and hugged him, still smelling that faint scent.

it bugged me more and more. that i just had to ask, "what did you do today?"

"my boss was being lazy so i had to help him complete his work."

i chuckled and so did he, but now, im sure i was onto something.

"you're not going to be late anymore, right?" i asked him questions to see if i was correct.

this theory was the unthinkable.

"i hope not. or i will miss you too much." he pouted and kissed me on the fourhead.

chrollo went home at 7, really late. which was suspicious, but i guess his excuse made it up.

me and him went to our bedroom and we slept, cuddling eachother, this time, his head was below to my chest, and i was hugging his head.

~time skip~

it was 4AM and i woke up, to chrollo being already gone, i checked the whole house and didn't find him anywhere. so i was safe to go.

normally that faint smell didn't leave me, so i tracked him down, hiding my presence.

he went what seemed to be an apartment complex, since when does he do work at an apartment.

the lights turned on, and i saw chrollo.

he was with someone, but really unfamiliar to me. i couldn't get a good angle, due to the curtains slighty covering the person.

they seem to have long, blond hair. seemed to have curly hair and wore a dress showing most of her skin, chrollo.. chrollo just went up and kissed her,

no not a greeting kiss, like people do, but a mouth to mouth..

what,

how could he do this???

tears formed in my eyes' and i was angry. i never wanted to see chrollo again.

i went back to the base and grabbed important stuff to me, and left. without a notice of anyone.

i didnt even leave a goodbye note to them, i just left back to meteor.

meteor was a rough city, but i grew up with friends. i also had family there willing to let me move in for a while.

i was so mad, i even forgot about him a couple minutes later.

but i was also tired, so i ordered a taxi to come pick me up.

thankfully the taxi driver came sooner than i expected,

"where to?" the lady driver said.

"to the subway station."

she went and started her route.

it was a silent drive, and i was on the phone with my mother half of the time.

the driver reached the destination and i tipped her 50 yen.

i went down the the underground subway and i waited for the train to arrive,

it was about 15 minutes til it came, and i hopped on. the train took 45 minutes to get there and i was sitting next to the door.

i was getting texts from the troupe, asking where i was.
