Knowing your feelings and how vulnerable you were, you agreed to stay for the night and prayed it would pass as fast as possible. Why? Because you knew that the more time you spent with him, you were going to fall for him. You knew yourself. It was going to happen. It was just a matter of time. But were you ready to put your heart up on the line again? No. You're not. You were not going to risk it again.

As your luck would have predicted, the night seemed to only go slower, like you were never going to see the sun rise again. You shifted your tired figure on the big soft bed, wondering why you weren't able to fall asleep. The truth is, you never got used to sleeping alone. Huffing in annoyance you got out of bed, grabbing the spare robe that Yoongi gave you and made your way to the living room. All lights were off, but the moon lit it up enough to see your way.
The storm was still going strong. Heavy raindrops were blown towards the glass window making a rhythmic tap that sounded satisfying to you in contrast with the harsh crashing sounds of the thunder.

You stood at a distance at first contemplating on whether or not you should sit in the living room when suddenly lightning struck once more. It was possibly one of the loudest ones you heard for today. You felt the ground vibrate underneath you, and so, in a panic, you thought it best to retreat back to the guest room. The pajamas you wore were big in size, your feet weren't able to come out from underneath causing you to trip. However, to your surprise, you fell on a rather soft surface, even when you fell at full force.

It was Yoongi.

He was on his way to the kitchen when he saw you standing idle, but before he could say anything you had turned and fell towards him, taking him down as well.

Your body was on top of his, while his arms were wrapped around your figure trying to soften the blow between you and the hard floor. Your eyes tried to adjust to the dark atmosphere "O-oh my god, I'm sorry!" you whisper yelled until you saw the soft features of his bare face covered by a few strands of your long hair. Your heart started to pound in your chest.

"Are you alright?" he asked, his panting breath pressing against your soft skin. That voice, killing you but waking something in you simultaneously.

"I'm ok." you replied, not realizing you were but inches away from his lips. You felt yourself in a battle against gravity as your head sank lower. You couldn't control yourself and feeling his hands slowly tighten around your waist was not helping the situation whatsoever.

"Y/n, I-" he began, a tone of hesitation lacing his words, you blinked away the haze and almost instantly you got up off his body, the spot on your waist now without his touch, turned cold.

Once you were on your feet, you offered him a hand to lift him up.

"Sorry about that." you said

"It's alright. It was dark anyway. Will you be going back to bed?" he asked, seeming a bit upset at himself from what just happened

Not wanting to go in his direction you said "Actually I thought of sitting here for a while because I can't fall asleep and then I'll probably head to the room." instantly regretting when he said, "I was actually planning to sit here for a while too. I'll join you."

Plopping down on the large couch, you brought your knees up to your chest to warm yourself "Can't sleep?" you asked out of curiosity, looking over at him as he took a seat on the couch to your right.

"Not sure really." he answered. It was a lie.

The two of you continued your conversation lightly, enjoying the tapping sounds of the rain. Yoongi was talking softly when he realized you hadn't said anything in a while. Averting his gaze from the window he looked over at you before a light chuckle escaped his lips. You had fallen asleep. You would think he would get offended but the truth is he couldn't have been any more happier seeing you getting some peaceful sleep. He watched you for a while until he noticed your body slowly leaning sideways potentially about to hit the arm of the couch. Standing up off his chair he took two long steps and quickly but gently placed himself next to you until he felt your head land on his shoulder.
