Chapter 12

After the never ending preparations for the event the d-day was finally here. Jimin had gotten up early so he could reach the venue before the guests would come in. He wanted to help as much as possible even though Jungkook did tell him not to.

So here he was walking inside the venue a few employees let out a few hi's and good morning towards his direction that he happily replied back. It's not that he was a morning person but sometimes he just happened to be full of energy. Mostly because he was going to see Jungkook.

After that day at the caterer he cleared up his mind. He thought about how things were hard on both sides. Which is why the next day at the office he made sure to not act any different. Jungkook still had to think about a lot, it could be seen with his attitude. He acted as he would normally act with Jimin and that helped Jimin a lot more when thinking about what he should do. How he should approach Jungkook and so how they were right now was the best thing to do.

He saw Jungkook talking to some people who he thought might have been the planners. Since the taller man was busy Jimin looked around hoping to see any other familiar faces.

"Taehyung!" Jimin ran towards the other man and was attacked with a hug

"Jimin! How are you?"

"I'm great and you?"

"Tired, I never wake up at this time but the things I have to do for Jungkook" Taehyung said dramatically.

"Nobody forced you hyung" the deep voice sent a shiver down Jimin's spine knowing exactly who was standing behind him.

"I was just joking around, you can even do that anymore'' Jungkook came closer and now Jimin could see him perfectly. He didn't miss how the taller man rolled his eyes, looking back at his friend. He looked beautiful. He was still dressed in his every day suit but it's like he only get handsomer every time Jimin sees him.

"Be careful Jimin, he's younger than all of us but boss us around"

"Hyung that's because I am your boss"

"Can't you put that title away when it's only us"

"The others will think I have favourites"

"Who cares, they already know. Jimin who's side are you taking?"

"Huh?" Jimin was taken out of his stance confused at what even they were talking about and looked back at the pairs of eyes on him.

"Jimin, who's right Jungkook or me?" Jimin didn't even know what that question was for and he was going to say Jungkook but he thought how it might have been suspicious.

"You, Taehyung is right"

"Yes, see Jungkook" Taehyung skipped towards Jimin and put an arm around his shoulder while poking his tongue out at Jungkook. Jungkook simply shook his head chuckling.

Taehyung was then called by someone and Jimin was left with Jungkook not knowing what to do. He started fiddling with his fingers when Jungkook spoke up.

"Jimin you didn't even know what we were even talking about, what were you thinking about huh?" The taller man raised an eyebrow, a smirk up his lip. When did he even start acting like that. What didn't help is that Jimin easily got flustered at everything. He couldn't possibly tell Jungkook that he was thinking about him.

"Hmm Taehyung is just a better friend so he comes first" Jungkook scoffed

"Right, he isn't the one that gives you food and lifts every now and then does he?" Touché, Jungkook woke up with the goal of  making Jimin feel flustered and he was successful that's for sure.
