First of all, I cannot thank you enough for showing "Unconditional" the love you all did. It was that love which inspired me to go ahead and bring to life another Prem and Noor story. Secondly, thank you for coming back to read this story. I hope it can connect with you in the same manner the first one did and I hope the love, the passion, and the yearning of Prem and Noor lives up to your expectations. I don't want to hold you back much longer but there is a HUGE disclaimer I would like to place below.
***This story is a work of imagination. Any resemblance to any character in the present or the past is purely coincidental.
*****This story is set in an imaginary land in an imaginary time period. Though the names of the places and characters will give away what area of North India this imaginary land is inspired by, I am in no way representing that group of people or their lifestyle over a century ago. I have tried my best to refrain from mentioning any real place, any religion, and any race or ethnicity due to North India's complicated (and at times tragic) history in the recent centuries. The last thing I want is people to be offended by the way their land, history, and people have been represented.
*******The political structure presented in this story is purely fictional and not inspired by any historical or present political structure. The political titles used to refer to the characters in power such as "Chief", "Lord", and "Minister" are all based off of an imaginary power scale created by the author and are in no way intended to represent any power structure existing in reality.
***********Finally and candidly, since the story is set in the past, it would have been best told in the Shakespearean English. Now, if you guys know me, I can barely write modern day English...so that wouldn't be possible even if I attempted it. Therefore, the conversation between the characters too often is modern enough to make you forget the story is from the past. Please forgive that. I apologize if that distracts you and makes you lose the plot but I truly did try my best.
Now. Stick with me through the introduction in the next chapter and the story of Prem and Noor will begin after that. Get ready for a tale of cosmic passion, devastating pain, and utterly immovable love between two individuals navigating their political positions and family rivalries.
