Obeying the note, I took a handful of powder from the sachet and sprinkled it in front of me.

"Professor Ratchel's office!" I exclaimed as the powder floated in mid-air.

However, I was astonished to see sparkles of the powder float back into the sachet.

I took another handful of the paranormal powder and sprinkled it in front of me.

"Professor Ratchel's office!" I exclaimed a bit louder.

Still, nothing happened except that the sparkles came back into the sachet, refilling it.

I tried it again.

This time something happened.

First I thought that it was an orb but it turns out that a young wizard had appeared out of thin air into the garden, where I stood scandalised.

I was taken aback.

"Who .... who are you?" I asked in fear.

He didn't even answer me, instead, he paced the garden toward me.

My heart skipped a beat.

I walked backwards slowly,

Suddenly, the wizard took two long strides and vanished into thin air.

He reappeared back into the garden a few centimetres away from me.

My eyes were wide open as I backed away from him.

"Hold up your pace, David!" Suddenly the wizard commanded. " I have come here to help you, my dear,"

"Help me with what?" I asked disbelievingly.

"It is obvious," He said. "You wanted to teleport right?"

"Yes," I replied.

"Where do you want to teleport?" He asked.

"To Professor Ratchel's office," I replied, finally identifying that he is only trying to help.

"Why do you need to go to the Headmaster's office?"

"He invited me."

"May I see the invitation letter?" He asked, stretching out his hand with a wide smile on his face.

I took the letter from my pocket and handed it over to him.

"May I ask you what Professor Ratchel's Acculator is?" He asked examining the letter.

"A scorpion," I replied. After a minutes silence I asked, "Sir, who are you?"

"I am Matthews Stephenson. from the department of teleportation." He replied. "I come here to help you."

"So what should I do?" I asked.

"Do you have any paranormal powder?"

"Yes," I replied, slightly nodding my head.

"May I have it please?"

I handed over the sachet which sparkled like stars in midnight sky.

He took it from me and put his gloved hands taking a handful of the paranormal powder. He sprinkled the paranormal powder reciting an incantation silently.

After a while, a huge orb appeared in front of us.

"What's happening?" I asked in terror.

"It is nothing but a teleporting orb that will take you to the edge of the cursed forest."

"WHAT!" I cried out.

"Yes, the cursed forest," He said "Now hurry up, we don't have so much time."

"But why do we need to - " Before I could finish my sentence, he gripped my hand.

We were pulled into the orb with so much force that I couldn't resist. The pressure was so high that my body became numb. I felt as if my eyes are going to fall of it's socket. It was so painful.

I was about to pass out, when an unpleasant smell filled my nostrils. I felt the pressure loosened and saw a light infront of me.
I was pushed out of the darkness into the light. Once again I felt the solid ground beneath my feet.

"Is this the first time you travelled through the paranormal powder? " Mathews asked me as I tried to get fresh air.

"Yeah" I replied.

"You did pretty well then," He claimed.

"Seriously?" I asked looking at him unbelievably. "It was about to strangle me to death!"

"Alright then," He said looking around. "Goodbye!"

Before I could say another word he was gone, he vanished into thin air.

"Oh crap!" Now how am I going to find my path to the school?"
I muttered under my breath.
