Two police officers break Luke's basement door down on the count of three, Harry being stood right behind them. As soon as the cops and Harry barge into the room, they all pause at the sight. Louis lies on the floor with his hands and legs tied up, something they kind of expected. What they didn't expect was for Jacob to be lying unconscious in a corner, blood dripping down his forehead. All of them were yet to find out how Louis had kicked jacob in hopes of keeping him away and that had caused the boy to accidentally hit his head on the wall and fall unconscious. It was purely self defense, but it had shocked Louis and made him feel guilty.

"Haz-za!" Louis croaks out as soon as he sees the taller boy, bursting into tears again.

"Baby..." Harry whispers and rushes towards the crying boy. He frees him from the ropes around his wrists and ankles, almost crying at seeing the rope burns before he kisses all over the boy's face and hugging him close. "I'm so sorry. I'll never leave you alone again, boo. I'm so, so sorry, my baby. I love you so much." Harry cries into Louis' hair, kissing his head a few times. He pulls back to look at Louis, but the boy has already lost consciousness. "Louis!" He worriedly yells in his face.

When one of the cops notices Louis' state, he tells Harry to take him out where the ambulance is waiting since they're taking jacob to the hospital as well. The boy nods and picks Louis up, following the paramedics as they take jacob towards the ambulance.

After a lot of begging and crying, Harry gets in the ambulance as well. He holds Louis' hand the whole way to the hospital, whispering to him that he'll be okay and Harry loves him and will take care of him. As soon as they put Louis on a stretcher and move him into an emergency ward, Harry sees his mother, Liam, Zayn, Niall and Luke barging through the hallways.

"Where is he? Is he okay? Can we see him?" Silvia rushes and Harry shakes his head.

"He'll be fine mom, he'll be alright." Harry weakly promises, but then he starts bawling as soon as Zayn comes to hug him, Liam holding him from behind. Niall only looks at them and feels his eyes tearing up as well. Luke sees it and puts his arms around his friend's shoulder, pulling him into a side hug.

Just then, a doctor comes out of Louis' room and the boys break away to look at him full of hope. Silvia is about to say something when the doctor raises his hands and smiles at her.

"He's absolutely okay. The wound on his head is a minor one, it'll heal in just a few days. Other than that, his body is a little weak due to the lack of food and water, but he'll be okay as he starts eating his regular meals again. There is nothing to worry about, ma'am." He assures her, at the same time, all of them.

"Thank you, doctor. Thank you so much." Silvia gives him a teary smile.

"No worries. And, you all can see him, he'll be awake soon." He informs and leaves after Silvia thanks him a few more times.

Silvia is the first one to enter the room and she sighs in relief as Louis isn't attached to many wires or stuff. Liam follows after her, then zayn and Luke and Niall. Harry is the last one to get in, taking small steps, afraid to see Louis in a bad state. Just like Silvia, he sighs in relief at seeing only one wire attached to his arm. He takes a seat on the chair on Louis' left, Silvia being on right, while everyone else stands.

There's a bandage around Louis' forehead and being careful to that, Harry swipes the boy's fringe away before leaning down and leaving a kiss into his hair. Everyone only silently looks on without a word.

"I love him." Harry decides to announce. Since Louis is unconscious, he thinks it's the best time. If anyone would have a bad reaction, at least his Boo won't have to face it.

"We know." Everyone says in unison and Harry's face turns beet red. Was he that obvious? "Even Cara knows." Liam says. "Even Waliyha knows." Zayn adds. "Even Andrew pointed it out." Silvia smiles. "Even Ashley knew, from the start." Luke mumbles. "And Shawn has written enough fanfics to figure it out." Niall smirks.

Harry just gulps and looks at Louis, hoping for the hospital floor to swallow him somehow. Everyone noticed, they all knew and none of them had a problem. It was Harry all along who kept himself away from Louis'.

You tend to put down rules for yourself, Harry.

She was right after all.

It's an hour later, when Silvia has gone home at Harry's insistence that she needed rest and Zayn had dragged Liam home since he still had a little fever, that Niall and Luke are sat beside Louis' bed as Harry's gone to get some food for the boys and himself. As Harry walks in through the door, he almost drops the food at seeing not two, but three pairs of bright blue eyes staring back at him. The one in the middle being his favorite.

"Lou!" He almost cries as he runs towards the bed. Louis, sitting on the bed, beams at the taller boy and opens his arms. Harry immediately engulfs the boy into his arms and kisses his head several times.

Luke meets Niall's eyes and motions him towards the door. Niall, taking the hint, nods before both the boys swiftly slip out of the room.

"I'm so sorry, baby." Harry cries as he pulls back to look at Louis' face. "I won't ever leave you alone, I promise. I'll never let this happen agai-"

"Hazza!" Louis suddenly exclaims, making harry shut up and look at his pretty boy. Louis bites the inside of cheek and looks away for a moment, a dark shade of crimson coating his cheek and ears. He takes a deep breath before looking back at Harry's awaiting eyes. "I love you." He whispers.

He looks away again when the taller boy's intense gaze stays on his face. The room is dead silent and Louis gulps, wondering why Harry won't say anything. He kind of frowns and right when he looks back at Harry, he squeaks when the taller one kisses him.
