Sunflower

Amongst the sun dazed blooms
 You spread your warmth
 And joy for the hopeless ones
 A sunflower among the field

Along with the harmony
 or your grace and the wind
Your fierce and strong frame
 Made even an admirer tremble

Amongst the roses and tulips
You are the sunflower in my garden
 The only flower to bring
light upon the darkness 

Darling, stand tall and proud
 Your domineering, yet gentle petals
Is the warmest yellow
