"...I'm sorry. I should've talk to you about it instead of being distant." Jaehyun continued talking, having his eyes on her the whole time.

Y/n of course was not looking at him. She was stating at the sky that had changed many colors since when Jaehyun started speaking.
Now it was a dark orange/red with purple. It was breathtaking.But listening to Jaehyun the last hour made her feel like crying.

"I also want to apologise for being mean sometimes. That time I told you you're annoying... I didn't mean it. I'm truly sorry" he felt his chest heavy. "I know I should not have said that but it was a few days after I saw all these..." he bite his lip. "I'm sorry"

"Jaehyun..." she started but bit her tongue. "I understand your shock and I'm glad you realised that you should've talk to me about it instead... But don't you think you're a bit late? I know it's not easy, but what made you realise now?"

"yesterday you told me I could open up to you anytime. You wanted to know what made me cry that night... That was the reason. I only found out then"

"is that why Becka called me to ask if we are together?"

"hm... And about what she said earlier, these are all lies. I would not leave you for an other woman" Jaehyun tilted his head to have a better view of the girl that was sitting next to him. "I love you, y/n" he looked away.

"Thank you for telling me... I thought I pushed you away"the girl finally looked at him as she spoke quietly. "I thought I was the problem again"

"you know... I think you never were the problem. Whatever happened in between you and her years ago, I think it's all because of her. She changed, you tried to keep her close but she was someone else already..."

"whoever is at fault, it doesn't matter any more because it all happened years ago and nothing is going to change now. I think the 'Becka' chapter came to an end."

"I hope so" He placed his hand on her shoulder, patting her in a friendly way but it was awkward so, she pulled back.

"uhm... So now..." she pouts, looking at him confused.

"I don't expect you to accept me as your boyfriend again... At least not soon but I'd love to be close to you and try becoming a good friend" he forced a sad smile, but his dimples were visible enough which made her smile back because she hadn't seen them in months.

"I think we can do that...Lets be friends." she smiled, making him smile big this time.

"should we swim together for a while before going back to the others then? Much happened these days, I guess us being friends again will make them happy and no one will be awkward."

"that's a good idea. Let's swim here and not there where Haechan wants to actually kill us"

"Do you know if people live around this beach?" the girl asked, swimming close to the shore Jaehyun who was swimming not that far from her.

"I have no idea. Its my first time being here too" he said, now standing with his hips and above outside of the water. "it's getting cold. I think we should go back."

"Jaehyun..." the girl says again ignoring what he just told her. "I thought of adopting a dog." she went to where he was, still swimming.

"that's nice. Have you found a dog already?"

"hm..."

"what breed?"

"I don't know what it is yet... Its super small." she got up, following him to the land. "the doctor will tell me, once we go back to Seoul ."
