"you came fast" the girl looked down, hiding her body behind the door.

"I was nearby" Jaehyun spoke quietly, entering the apartment.

"I'm sorry"

"just come here. We need to talk" the guy sat on the couch,having his eyes on her.

"I know, I shouldn't believe her before hearing from-"

"shut up" he coldly mumbled, making her heart break in pieces.

"Did you... Drink?" the girl frowned, feeling the smell of soju in her nostrils.

"why? Do I look drunk?" Jaehyun rolled his eyes. "I can drink three bottles and not get drunk."

"and how many did you have?"

"just one. I didn't have time for more. You texted"

"that was fast" the girl mumbled to herself.

"what did you say?"

"n-nothing"

"so, why did you text? You still seem upset. If you brought me here to apologise, I'll leave"

"then what should I do? I did what I blamed you, months ago. I feel bad"

Jaehyun looked around him. "I never apologised tho. Why should you?"

The girl just stood there. What should I answer?

"because I'm a nice person" she finally sat next to him.

"aren't I a nice person?"

"do you want to argue again?"

"remember when you got drunk that night?" Jaehyuns soft voice echoed in the living room, referring to the night they were playing games.

Y/n frowned. "I remember" she said, making him smile.

"you were so drunk, talking nonsense" his left dimple was now visible.

"why are you bringing this up now?"

"that night you were happy because I said I like you as a friend."

"I was drunk"

"drunk but still able to talk about your cousin."

"they say 'alcohol speaks the truth'. If it was something bad I'm sorry. You made me drink."

"you didn't talk bad. You were asking me to be careful with her"

"and you as usual got angry"

"ani... I laughed at you because you were cute." he admitted, making the girl frown in confusion.

How can he admit calling her cute with that poker face??

"I find it hard to believe, but go on" she leaned her body on a huge pillow, looking at him
