You walk outside of the house with Matt and Al. Rush comes over to the three of you.
"y/n I want you to head home and get cleaned up. Meet me back at the district tomorrow morning for case review." Rush says.
"Sir, I am completely fine to head back to 31 now." You say in a reluctant tone.
"No." Rush says shortly and then walks away.
You turn and look at Matt.
"What's up his ass?" You ask as you roll your eyes.
"Who knows. I'm going to head down to central booking and help push some of these guys through. You go..." Matt's voice trails off, "Home?" Matt jokes.
You look at him and shake your head. Matt walks away from the two of you. Al grabs your arm and pulls you in his direction.
"You can come over, if you want." Al says.
"Definitely." You say with a slight smirk.
Al walks over to his car and you follow him. He holds the passenger door open for you and you get into his car.
He starts the car and the engine roars. He pulls onto the road and drives to his place. Within 10 minutes, you pull up in his driveway.
Al and you get out of the car and walk up to the garage. He unlocks the door and lets you walk in first.
You walk inside and sit down on a stool in the kitchen. Al walks over to you and wraps his arms around the front of you.
"It's been quiet around here without you." Al says, turning you around.
"Were you missing me?" You question in a soft tone.
"I thought it was obvious." Al says, cupping your cheek and kissing your lips softly.
You pull Al closer to you and he slides his hand down your back. He picks you and you wrap your legs around his back. He takes you down the hallway and pushes open the door of his bedroom with his shoulder.
He sets you down on the bed and lays down next to you. You climb on top of him and kiss him. Al slides his fingers down your back and rests them on the seam of your back pocket.
A knock at the garage door interrupts the two of you. Al lets out a sigh and pushes you off of him.
He walks out of the room and opens the door.
"Meredith, what do you want?" Al asks in a surprised tone.
