The princess and the witch.

Story:1

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful queen. She had no children, and this made her sad. One day, she learnt that she was pregnant, but her baby caused her lots of trouble before it was even born. And when the baby was born, she discovered that the girl wasn't a beautiful princess as she was expecting, in fact it was a demonic baby witch. However, the queen loved her child just as much as she loved her other children that followed.

All her children were beautiful princesses, except the eldest who was born like a witch.

The queen started to drift away from her eldest child a year after another, until that eldest child was 10 years old and she no longer loved her, because she was getting uglier and uglier as years passed...

From that moment, the girl felt a real pain in her chest, and her eyes soon were blinded by the horrible truth of her identity. She was never meant to be a princess, she would be doomed to live her life as an ugly witch.

That girl ran away from the castle she had been raised in as soon found herself in the dirty streets of the country, she was lost, with nobody by her side. She was alone, away from her family, and everyone seemed to avoid her

A few months later, that girl decided to wear a mask that would hide her ugliness, and fool people into believing she's one of them. And three years after that, she met a girl in town, and she began to get close to her

Seeing her everyday, and talking with her about random stuff made the witch feel better

But she felt out of place and couldn't hide her true identity from the person who soon became her best friend. And she kept struggling for weeks inside her mind to see if she would let her in or not

And when she finally decided to tell her the truth, the mask she put wouldn't come off anymore. It had been on her face for oh so many years that it was stuck there, forever; as she thought.

However, what she didn't know is that the girl she met was a princess, and she was the princess who had the purest heart and the most innocent mind in the whole Kingdom, and soon after the witch told her everything, the princess tried to help her to get the mask off...

They tried many times, but it was all in vain, they tried many methods, potions and spells but never would the mask come off. And when they were just about to give up, realisation hit the princess as she told her friend: "We cannot get your mask off because you wanted to be beautiful so much that this is what you became."
