The key

Story 6:

It was dark inside, I got here a while ago and there was a small fraction of light but now it's getting darker by the hour...

It all began one night where the sky was bright and the stars shone with all their power. I was granted entrance to the castle of my dreams. I'd wanted to get inside for a while but I was too shy to ask for permission to enter. However when I raised my hand, the queen directly understood and let me in. Well not completely... 

I was only in the bright parts of the castle where guests would be welcomed. I loved them. There was so much in them to discover that my breath was taken away. 

One night the queen promised that one day she would give me the key to the darkest parts of that castle where legend says that the spirit of her young soul was hidden. And this was my destination. 

Being the curious explorer I was, and being so close to my destination for the first time in my life, I decided to wait for the queen in front of the door of the attic, waiting for the key to be given to me.

This is how I got here now... 

It's been a while with me waiting here and I've even tried to search for it a few times but it's pointless. I think the queen changed her mind for now. But I'll wait... I'll always be waiting...

Even if the light is running out and I can do nothing, I'll wait. Maybe one day the queen will remember and will finally let me meet the princess she's kept inside for so long thinking it was a monster.
