"Come on, get a move on!" I fall out of the comforting white mess and onto the hard floor. "Ugh." I hear yelling and stomping on deck. I drag myself off of the floor and put everything back on the bed. I hear the door open and see Jack poking his head inside. He smirks at my (what I assume) disheveled state. "Morning sunshine." I wave a hand lazily in response. He chuckles and walks over to me. He reaches over my head and I tilt it in confusion. He pulls something from my hair and I look up. For some random reason, there was a leaf in my hair. How!? We are in the middle of the ocean! I feel my cheeks heat up immediately in embarrassment. He tilts my chin back up and just smirks. I roll my eyes and loosen his grip from my face. He pouts slightly and walks around the room. "We are docking in Tortuga right now. We'll be on shore any minute." I walk over to one of the shelves and pull out a hairbrush. Ok, so, while I was cleaning I found this brush. It is made of pig bristles which I find very gross. But, It is the only hairbrush on this entire ship, and no one else was using it. I brush all of the tangles out of my hair and Jack stares at me. I don't exactly know why but I didn't feel uncomfortable. Usually I would feel like an insect under a microscope when people stare, but not with Jack. What is this feeling? He stops looking and it breaks my gaze. Weird. I finish up my hair and walk out of the cabin. It was very orange outside. I couldn't tell what time it was. I know it was either sunrise or sunset. "You slept all day, Love. That practice must have tired you out." Jacks voice rumbles behind me. I feel my mouth gape open. "All day!? Why didn't you wake me?" I stomp my foot like a little child and pout. I wanted to help around. "You looked like you needed more rest when I checked on you. You looked like a dead man." He chuckled and I slapped his arm. "Ah! Don't do that." He rubbed the side of his arm. "Ok, sorry princess." I roll my eyes and smirk when he narrows his eyes. "We need to discuss the plan with the rest of the crew." He turns on his heel and to the center of the ship. "Alright you filthy lot! Turner, Mr. Gibbs, Marty and... Cotton... (Clears throat) You all know the plan but since Vicky doesn't we are going to go over it again." They all groan in annoyance accept for Will and Cotton. (For obvious reasons.) Jack walks around each member slowly while talking. "When we are fully docked, we are going to the Faithful Bride tavern to meet a shabby looking man. He has a piece of information that is necessary to me and Turner. Vicky this is where you come in." I step forward to hear him better. "Marty and Cotton will watch the Pearl while meself, Vicky, and Turner go. Victoria, Love, while we are in the tavern, I want you to wait for the man by the bar. You'll recognize him immediately. He always wears a silver cross ring and he has a slight deformity in his right eye. I am absolutely positive he will walk over to you and try to buy you a drink. I want you to swoon over him," He cringes slightly while saying this, as do I. "And get him outside. If things get a little messy, have your bloody swords at the ready. I can't lose any of my crew. Accept you Turner, I'm not very fond of you." Will rolls his eyes and I laugh slightly. Jack smirks when I laugh. "Go on then!" We turn to see that we are docked and we ready the board. I suddenly get really nervous. I haven't flirted with anybody before, let alone a pirate. I twist my hands slightly. "It'll be fine Love, and if he tries anything I'll make his left eye look the same as the chicken scratch on the right." I smile when Jack says this. I feel someone tap on my shoulder and I see Mr. Gibbs with an apple in his hand. "I no'iced tha' you didn' get to eat." He mumbles and I smile and take the apple. "Thank you Mr. Gibbs." I pull him into a slight hug and he awkwardly hugs back at first. He chuckles and pats my back. "A'right, let's get a move on!" Jack shouts and we start walking. He stays in front of us the entire time, walking in his sassy drunk-like state. There were so many people. Most of them were drunk. There were men that were as filthy as pigs and the women were no better. They were practically crawling on any guy in sight. I scrunch my nose in disgust. "What is this place?" Will says as disgusted as I feel. "This is a place where all pirates and freeloaders come to have a good time." He turns his head slightly to the right. "I'm telling you mate if every place in the world were like this one, no man would ever be lonely." A woman in a red dress starts walking towards him. I smirk, knowing what's about to happen. "Ah, Scarlet!" She stops in front of him and slaps him across the face. Hard. He groans slightly. "I don't know if I deserved that." She walks away with a 'Humph.' He turns back around and another woman in a light blue dress walks up to him. "Giselle!" He opens his arms. "Who is she?" She smiles sickeningly. "What-" She slaps him across the face in the same place Scarlet did. She walks away. "I may have deserved that." He shakes it off and keeps walking. I laugh out loud and he narrows his eyes slightly but continues. Will was laughing along with me and I had to hold on to him not to fall over. The ground was so muddy, it could be a water-slide at some point. I hear Jack growl slightly at the sight of me holding onto Will but I don't pay attention. We turn a corner and I see a sign that says: "The Faithful Bride Tavern." I look around to see more women clinging onto men in the grossest way possible. I gag. "Faithful, yeah right." Will nods his head in agreement. We walk inside and I smell a strong scent of alcohol. I have to hold my breath to keep from fainting. There were men gambling and women serving them drinks. Jack comes right next to me, startling me slightly. "Alright love, we are all going to be in here. You just won't be able to see us a'right? Go to the bar there, he'll be there." I turn around to ask him something but he's gone. Great. I walk over and sit in one of the stools. It was slightly scratchy, no one has sanded it down. I wait for a long time until the barista comes over. "Can I get the pretty lady anything to drink or... something else?" He looks at me creepily and I just smile. "Water would be good." He nods his head and walks off. He comes back a few minutes later with a huge mug. "Ask if you need anything else." He winks and walks away to help another customer. I look inside the mug and it looks like water. I still wasn't sure so I smelt it. It smelled like someone spiked it. I push it away from me. I hear some shuffling behind me and I stiffen slightly. "Heello Beautiful." I cringe at the nickname. I put on a fake smile and turn to whoever was talking to me. I see a man with shoulder length hair and and a strange hat. I look at his eyes and his right one is slightly smaller than the other. One of his pupils was dilated and the other was completely normal. He opened his mouth and he has multiple crooked teeth. He wasn't very handsome to say the least. I looked down, trying to see the ring Jack was talking about. I couldn't find it. "Hello." I say back, trying my best to be flirtatious. It seemed to work because he sat down next to me and eyed me like a piece of candy. I smile and turn towards him. "What's your name you pretty little thing?" I cross my legs and hold out my hand delicately. "Victoria." He gladly takes my hand and kisses the back of it sloppily. He was obviously drunk and couldn't do anything without it being extremely gross. "Pleasure to meet such a pretty flower. Care to have a drink with me?" I nod my head silently and turn back to the front. "Two beers." He grumbles with drunkenness. The barista comes running with two beers. He grabs one and pushes the other towards me. I grab it and while he guzzles his own drink, I dump mine in a near-by plant holder. I feel bad for the plant, but I'm not drinking this disgusting substance. I hold my mug up just as he looks at me. "You finished that quick." He laughs like it's the funniest thing ever and I awkwardly laugh as well. He gets closer so he breaths in my face. His breath is terrible. It was worse that Chase's dumpster breath. He gets even closer and tries to kiss me. Ew. I push on him slightly and he looks at me confused. "Let's do this somewhere else shall we?" He pulls out his hand and caresses my face. I see the cross ring and smile. He suddenly pulls out a gun and points it at me. "I am no fool. What do you want from me?" I shiver in fear and he cocks the gun. "Well then, I'll just need to-" The barista knocks him out of the way and the bullet goes flying. Oh no.

(Start from 0:29 and end at 2:00. It works better for the story.)

I realize that I forgot my cutlass back on the Pearl so I ducked under the counter. Everyone keeps fighting while I grab a bottle of rum and break it on the man's head. It knocks him out completely and he falls limply on the floor. Jack walks up to me, grabbing my arm. "Are you alright?" He looks concerned to the point his vein in popping out of his forehead. I nod and swallow. I didn't realize that I was shaking so much until I started hyperventilating. I felt the world start spinning. Was this what a panic attack felt like? I fell onto the ground and started hugging myself. I feel something warm engulf me and I look to see... Jack. Holding me. "It's alright, I've got you. I've got you..." I lost it then. I started crying and I grabbed onto him like my life depended on it. I thought I was going to die. I didn't think that I would be scared of a gun pointed at my head but I was. I continued to cry while the guys just stood off to the side awkwardly. Jack picked me up bridal style and took me out of the bar. "Get that slob and tie him to the mast. I need to help her." I hear voices around me and a lot of movement. All I could actually focus on was Jack. He was holding me close to his chest and his hands were under my legs and around my waist. His breath was on the side of my face since mine was buried in his shoulder. He smelled like rum and sandalwood. It was surprisingly a nice combination. I hear a door open and I see we are back on the Pearl. I cling onto him tighter as we walk into the cabin. He sits on the bed with me still in his arms. I continue crying as he rubs my back soothingly. It manages to calm me down a little and I look up at him. His brows were furrowed with worry but he smiles slightly when I looked at him. I looked into his deep chocolate brown eyes. He seemed to be searching into mine as well. He wiped one of my tears that was running down my face and caressed my cheek lightly. "Are you sure that you are alright?" I weakly laugh. "He reminded me of someone who used to bully me all the time." He looks at me closer. "I assume he's the one who did that to your eye." I pull my hand to my eye and feel it. It was still sore. "I didn't think you noticed. I thought you were more focused on finding treasure." I look off to the side. "Not all treasure is silver and gold mate." I look up at him and he's staring back at me. I see him get closer and glance down slightly. I get closer as well, not knowing what's happening. Suddenly the door bursts open and we jump apart. "He's tied to the mast Capt'n." I see Mr. Gibbs smiling and we both give him a look saying he's gonna be dead. He slowly frowns and walks out of the room without a word. I roll my eyes and stand up off of the bed, my embarrassment evident on my face. "I uh, better go talk to him." Jack slowly walks out of the room, not looking at me for a moment. I sigh and flop back on the bed. What was happening? I felt so drawn to him. Was he about to kiss me!? I groan and put my hands over my face. I decide to walk on deck to actually see what all the fuss was about up there. Because, I hear a lot of yelling. I open the door and see the entire crew surrounding the mast. I walk closer and see the deformed man with his arms to his sides and he's tied tightly to the mast. "I want to know." I hear Jack's voice in the crowd and I walk closer to him. "I ain't saying nothing. Might as well drown me." I roll my eyes. How dramatic can a man be? I guess most people haven't met Jack yet. I giggle. Jack turns and shock is on his face. He suddenly get's an idea and pulls out his revolver. "Do you know who I am?" The burly man shakes his head. "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow. Savvy?" He points the barrel at the man's head. His eyes go wide with fear. I mentally face-palm for him. "I-I'll tell you two things but that's it!" He tries to sound confident. Jack nods his head. "The one you want is in Isla de La Muertos. For that one," He aims his head at me. "You will want to go to Tia Dalma. Although I wouldn't get your hopes up." He laughs like a maniac and it scares me slightly. Jack walks in front of me in a protective manner. "Throw him off." The crew complies and unties him, dragging him to the side of the ship. "You won't make it with her here!" He shouts over his shoulder as they throw him over. I am mostly confused by what he means. I back up slightly and think about it. What is he talking about. Jack walks up to me. I put on a smile. "Isla de los Muertos?" He sighs. "Yes, that's where Hector is. I have to get him, he left me on an island with one bullet. Also Will's little crush is there." Ah. "The infamous Elizabeth Swann." He nods as we set out to sea.
