This is not my life

Chapter 3

I have a terrible headache. I hear a high-pitched beep and I feel very weak. I try to open my eyes but there is a radiant light that hurts me. I want to move my body but I can't. After a while, I finally open my eyes and at the beginning that light hurts me but now, it doesn't. I notice that I am at the hospital. I search my family, but they aren't here, instead of them there are two adults. A woman, who has brown hair and blue eyes and a man, who has black hair and green eyes. They both look very serious.

I don't know what is happening. Why are they here and not my family? I don't even know them. I could finally move and i sit in the bed. That woman notices me.

Woman: "Joyce! elle s'est réveillée!"

Man: "Si c'est vrai. J'appelle le docteur".

I am very confused, why are they talking so strange?

Me:"Where is my family?"

They both look at me shocked.

Maybe they kidnapped me, I think. So I decide to run. I go out of the room running as fast as I can. I could go out of the hospital and I notice that there are many people running towards me.

I pass next to a mirror store and I can't believe what the mirrors reflect.

They show a girl who seems to be older than me with black hair and deep blue eyes. I know that that person is me but I can't understand. Am I hallucinating? Why do I look like another person?.

I feel shocked and I run to the other direction, but what my eyes see shocks me even more. I see the Eiffel Tower!. Am I in Paris? What has just happened? And why do I look so different.

I feel weak again and I fall into the cold sidewalk. I can't breathe I start to get anxious. Some doctors could reach me, and they took me back to the hospital. I am still confused.
