Kaylns P.O.V

I stood at jais door tears streaming down my face, trying to wipe them away and act like I wasn't crying. He knows most things about me but Ive never told him every detail. It wasn't that I couldn't trust him... It was more the fact I didnt know how he would react.

I should probably tell you a little bit about myself, my name is Kayln I'm 17 and dating jai brooks.nice been friends with the brooks brothers since I was born my mum and Gina have been friends since before beau was born, so they are practically brothers to me! Beau is the over protective older brother who death stares any guy that comes near me, luke is like my best friend sibling the one I can talk to about everything and anything then there's me and jai... I've always had a little thing for him and he did but me but neither of us were bright enough to realize since about 10 months ago

Jai opened the door and could see I'd be crying

"get inside its freezing outside! Why have you been crying!?" Jai said to me as he opened the door

Jai put his arms around me and quickly took me inside. He got a blanket and rapped it around me while sitting me down on the couch.

"what's wrong why are you crying" jai said while giving me a caring look

"why do you think" I said to jai giving him a look

"who was it and what did they say!!" jai said to me

"it was nothing big it's just me over reacting like I always do" I said to jai while forcing a smile

"you sure? You know you can tell me anything you know that?" jai said to me while giving me a tight hug

"yea of cause I know i can" I smiled at jai this time not as forced

"I'm starving do you want anything to eat" jai said while getting up and walking to the kitchen

"yes please I will come help!" I said while running towards jai in the

Kitchen

I was cutting up tomatoes when all I heard behind me was a loud shriek and a loud bang. I quickly turned around seeing jai standing in front of the oven kissing his finger with the tray of chicken patties spilt on the oven door.

"What did you do" I said to jai giving him a caring look

"I went to get the chicken out of the oven and burned my finger" jai said while pouting at me

"aww you poor baby" I sarcastically said to jai

"don't be mean! Kiss it better for me!" jai demanded

I gave him a look as if to say 'really jai how old are you 5!' then he just stuck his finger out towards me

I rolled my eyes at jai and walked towards him giving him a little kiss on the finger

"is that better?"I said to jai

"Much better!" jai said in the voice of a 5 year old giving me a huge smile

I know it's a short chapter but they will get longer as I go into the book :)
