She didn't deserve a name
She never did anything right
She never got good enough grades
She never was athletic enough
She never did her chores right
She never was presentable
She never cooked good food
She never kept the house clean enough
She never lived to the expectations her mother wanted
And because of this
Every time she was never enough
She was slapped
Or punched
Or kicked
Or thrown on the floor
Or shoved to the wall
But she never fought back
Why?
Well because
She gave up on the first fight
And accepted she would never be enough
