If Lisa was just an actor within the entertainment circle, old man Manoban would not even place her in his eyes regardless of his rank as a Film Empress. Towards people with their statuses, an actor was just an actor. There was no possibility they would possess the power to sway the Manoban corp.

But Lisa's status wasn't as simple as just an actor. She was also the wife of Kim family's princess, Jennie. Old man Manoban had no choice but to value this relationship now. Of course, what old man Manoban valued the most was Kim family's attitude!

On the surface, he was dividing the inheritance to give to Lisa so that he was speechless and couldn't attempt to gain more. But if they had a common enemy then they will most likely end the fight within and fight together against the outsider. Obviously, the people old man Manoban considered to be outsiders are Lisa and Jennie. With these people as the common target for Manoban family, the inner battles won't be that intense.

Old man Manoban had exhausted his thoughts and ingenuity to consider for Manoban family. In order to avoid establishing Kim family as an enemy, he even smiled towards the illegitimate child he looked down upon the most. He had attempted his best.

Jennie and Lisa naturally couldn't guess through old man Manoban's painstaking efforts. Based on the two people's IQ, they could easily guess what happened. Especially Jennie who was outraged by injustice for Lisa. According to her way of thinking, if Lisa really accepted the offer and stopped hating Manoban family, then he won't keep his eyes on Manoban family's other properties which mean that Kim family couldn't really do anything under Lisa's name.

"Old man has great ideas." Jennie didn't bother to disguise her sarcastic tone.

"Kim family's girl, what do you mean by this? Do you want to stop her from admitting to his ancestral roots?" Old man Manoban looked seriously, scolding her. He looked at her as though she was an immature child.
