Lisa was quite happy seeing this. However, his mood was ruined quickly.

Father Manoban had called again. Like before, Mina answered while Lisa listened in from the side.

"Mr. Manoban, are you looking for Lisa? Lisa is shooting a scene now. Later, I will make sure to tell her that you were looking for her!" Instead of putting a cold face on, Mina smiled and exclaimed... Whilst it set an amiable atmosphere, in reality, he was just doing this half-heartedly.

"Let her answer immediately!" With this recurring response, Father Manoban couldn't hold in his anger. He couldn't believe that a small assistant dared to treat her like this. This must be under Lisa's directions. He couldn't tolerate this anymore. No matter what, Lisa was his son. How could he treat her so disrespectfully!

Father Manoban's voice bellowed through the phone that Mina had purposefully turned in Lisa's direction, so he heard it clearly.

Mina looked at Lisa questioningly, anticipating his response. Should he continue with the pretense or await his instructions? Father Manoban had obviously lost his patience. He had no idea as to what to expect if he were to still choose to disregard.

At this point, Mina couldn't help but sigh. Indeed, the Manoban family was annoying.. Just when Old man Manoban had finally stopped calling, the Second Master had taken up the baton. As for her, this coincidence wasn't without suspicion.

Lisa directly grabbed the phone over and spoke in an extremely impassive voice, "I am Lisa. What is the matter!"

This should be a question, but from Lisa's mouth, it was more like a statement. It was quite aloof and cold.

Mina shrunk his neck. Typically, Lisa was a frosty personality. Besides acting, he barely spoke. It was only recently that this had taken a turn for the better. The ambient apathetic aura had become gentler. This was obviously all thanks to President Kim.

Despite his usual insouciance, today witnessed a new level of bad.. The currently emotionless Lisa wasn't hard to discern.

Aii, undoubtedly, they are father and daughter. Yet, things have turned this way now. He couldn't help but sigh at the way fate had played the two. However, this was Father Manoban's fault. Being a father, he hadn't shouldered any of his responsibilities. He'd actually cast away his biological son and gave a hoot about her the past twenty-eight years. Such a heartless man didn't deserve to be a father. How could he blame Lisa for his indifference and ruthlessness?

"I believe you should address me as 'father.'" The same callous voice sounded, with an underlying unrestrained anger and magnanimity.

Lisa wanted to laugh.

Father?

Ever since his formative years, he'd never uttered that word. Father... this title... she would only use it for Father Kim. That's someone who's worthy of the title 'father'. Not this man on the phone who'd abandoned her!

"I believe that we don't know each other." In reality, they had only seen each other once. They'd never spoken to each other. It was appropriate to say they didn't know each other.

"You think, just by denying I am not your father anymore‽ Or do you think, now that you have the Kim family's backing, you don't need to care about the Manoban family‽" Father Manoban was furious and his words turned severe. Only he knew how embarrassing it was to not be acknowledged by his own son!

However, whatever the cause, the corresponding outcome is inevitable. He brought the trouble on himself! However, Father Manoban was obviously someone who didn't believe this! When it came to people with status, they had their eyes glued to their heads. Each one believed one was right. Who cared about others' opinions‽ This so-called belief was infallible.
