It already was the first week after their holidays when something strange occurred again. It was after Potions class when Audrey had to drink her purple goo again.
Severus Snape had been eyeing her the whole lesson and seemed to have a lot on his mind. He wanted to know so much more than he did.
He knew about the mark and the reasons why she was the one who was chosen by the darkest wizard of their time. But there was something else he wanted to know.
"C'mon Audrey, lets get going!" that blond friend of Audrey tugged at Audrey's sleeve and pulled her out of the room.
Audrey hadn't told her what happened during the holiday, it was best that way.
"I must give you your present!"
"I don't want a present from you, really." Audrey smiled, red tinting her cheeks.
"No, it's important to me." Audrey shrugged and followed her friend.
"Maria, where are we going?"
"Not to the dorms, that's for sure." Maria laughed "It's something very, very special."
They passed many portraits and painting before they reached the sixth floor. "Take my hand."
"Why are we standing in front of this room, Maria?"
"Trust me." Audrey hesitantly took Maria's hand and closed her eyes tightly.
"Open them now and don't worry." Audrey opened her eyes, tears rose up.
The room was decorated with multiple coloured roses and in the middle of the room was a little table with an enormous book.
"Open it up already." Audrey opened the book.
The first picture was of Maria, with her usual huge smile, she was waving hectically.
"We met quite often but hardly spoke and when I heard that you were in the hospital wing, I decided to visit you."
The second picture was of Audrey, her eyes were shut and she was fast asleep.
All of those pictures reminded her of the great and fun moments with Maria and her friends and family.
"Maria... this is-." she wiped the tears from her eyes "This is so... amazing." Audrey threw her arms around Maria's neck, tears of joy running down her red cheeks
"Your nose is red.", Maria laughed and pointed at her friend "You look cute, watch out before I make a move, we're all alone."
Both of them laughed out loud and flipped to another page.
"This shall be our friendship book. We just have to always add more pictures year after year."
"Yes." a little orb flew over to Maria and she glued it into the book. It was another picture.
"In case you wondered how those pictures were made." she giggled as Audrey stared at all the orbs in the room. "They make pictures of nice moments."
Audrey smiled "Maria?"
"Yes?"
"I-I have a present too, want to see it?"
"It isn't as nice as your present but I worked quite hard for this."
"What is it?"
She lead Maria out of the sixth floor and into the courtyard. "You said you liked Oliver?"
"Yeah." she blushed
"I won't ever be able to talk to sir snot-ball, alias Draco, Harry or George so... I thought I'd ask Oliver and he agreed."
