Audrey rose to her feet, her tummy felt sick again.
Maria, her room mate looked at her, slightly worried.
"Merry Christmas, Audrey!" Audrey smiled and looked at Maria, before attempting to get up
"Merry Christmas, Maria!"
The blond girl giggled "Should I get you anything?" Audrey didn't like the idea of being helped, but her throat felt like cracking and falling to dust.
"Water, my throat feels dry." she whimpered, clutching her neck.
"Yes, Ma'am!"
Maria ran out of the room, her blond, wavy hair jumping after her as she skipped away.
Maria was very loud, outgoing, funny and flirty, the opposite of Audrey, maybe that was the reason why they loved each other so much.
"Opposites attract!"
Audrey clutched her head and shook it wildly, her arm had been healed shortly after she passed out, but pain seized through it from time to time.
"Do you like flowers? I hate them, they are too fragile."
"Water for mademoiselle Audrey!"
"You know, I think Harry Potter has an eye for you." Audrey nearly spit out the water but choked on it instead.
"Maria, someone probably mixed something into your drink!"
"No really, he keeps staring at you!" she squealed
Audrey shook her head slowly, she knew why he looked at her, he was confused.
"You don't understand it, Maria, it's something no-one but my family understands." she shrugged and took her books
"Take it easy while I'm not in Hogwarts." Maria lunged forward and hugged Audrey tightly
"I will miss you so, so much!" she whined, gripping the ginger tighter "I wish you and your family the best winter holidays!"
"I wish you the same, Maria. I'll miss you, please don't forget me or be angry at me." Maria smirked
"If I ever get angry at you, I'm under the Imperio curse or mad." she laughed and grabbed her trunk.
"We'll see each other soon." Audrey nodded, tears rising to her eyes
"Merry Christmas, Maria."
"Merry Christmas, Audrey." she sent Audrey a wicked grin and winked at the red head as she shut the door and left for home.
Audrey sat onto her bed, she already missed her friend dearly.
They never really spoke to each other at first, but when Maria heard about Audrey being sick she ran to the hospital wing straight away.
Maria had an immense crush on three people, maybe even four.
The "prince" of Slytherin, Draco Malfoy, a snotty coward.
The boy who lived, Harry Potter, one of Audrey's dearest friends.
One of the prankster twins, George Weasley, Audrey's brother and finally, Oliver Wood, Quidditch captain of Gryffindor.
All four of them didn't really know Maria even existed. Maria often envied Audrey for even being noticed by this, for Maria, breath taking group.
"You staying here for Christmas?" the annoying voice of no-one other than Draco Malfoy ran in Audrey's ears. "Probably your family can't pay for the extra meal, so they decided to leave you here." he and Pansy Parkinson's girlfriends snorted.
