5 YEARS LATER:

I smile as I see Bucky playing with our boys. Caleb is now ten and we have three other boys. Theo and Aiden are four and Flynn is two. I rub a hand over my baby bump and smile wider as Bucky spots me and walks over. Bucky kisses me before rubbing his flesh hand over my bump.

"Hey doll, how'd the appointment go?" He asks as we watch the boys chase each other. Bucky was upset he had to miss the ultrasound, but he had work and had to pick up the boys.

"It was good, everything is fine," I say. When I was pregnant with Theo and Aiden I had more appointments as they knew I was at a higher risk of miscarriage and also since it was twins.

"I'm glad, did you find out the gender?"

I smile and say "We're finally getting the little girl we wanted"

Bucky's smile grows, and he kisses me before placing a kiss on my bump.

He cups my cheek "God, I love you"

"I love you too, let's go tell our boys"

Five Months Later:

I give birth to our beautiful little girl on Bucky's birthday, which he is happy about. He loves his little girl. She looks quite a bit like me but she inherited her father's eyes just like Caleb where Theo and Finn have my eyes and so does Aiden, she also has his hair where Theo has his color but it's curly and Finn has mine but straight and Aiden also has Bucky's hair.

Bucky grins at me as he holds his daughter in his arms, I smile, I love seeing him happy and God knows he deserves it after everything he's been through.

"What are we going to name her?" Bucky asks.

I smile "I have an idea"

"What is it?"

"Stevie, for Steve"

Bucky smiles and kisses me "I love it, middle name?"

I shrug "I don't know"

Bucky thinks a moment then says "What about Lyra?"

I smile "Stevie Lyra Barnes. I love it"

Bucky smile as he passes Stevie to me "I'm going to go get the boys"

I nod "Bring Pepper and Morgan too"

Bucky kisses my forehead "Alright"

A while later Bucky returns with the boys and Morgan and Pepper following.

Pepper smiles at me as they enter. Caleb sits in a chair with Flynn on his lap, Aiden and Theo sit down too.

"She's beautiful Vega," Pepper says smiling.

"Thanks, do you want to hold her?" I ask.

I smile as Pepper holds her then Caleb then with help Aiden and Theo do while Flynn just looks shocked.

"What's her name?" Morgan asks after holding Stevie.

I smile as Bucky says "Stevie Lyra Barnes"

"It's beautiful," Pepper says.

I smile, and after a while, Bucky and I are just left with our boys and daughter. I smile at him.

"What?" Bucky asks

"Nothing, just after everything we've been through, it's nice to have this."

"Yeah"

"Despite our battle scars and everything we got a family and a better life"

Bucky kisses me. Our battle scars make us who we are but they also remind us why we fight and mine and Bucky's battle scars lead us to this life, to each other, and to having a family and it's beautiful.
