They were eating their breakfasts, mal knew that something wrong was bout to happen to them, to her . She knew her mother was on her way.
And now about eating breakfast, I mean the royals were eating, but not the 7vks , there were not enough food left. If you are think why the royals or aks are not sharing, the reason is they don't even know that there is food shortage.but they were about to find it.

Ben noticed the 7 Vk's were not eating, including his wife.
"Why are you guys, not eating?" He asked gaining the attention of the others.
The others now realised that Ben was right.
"Um..be-because we don't want to?" Carlos said but it sounded moreike a question.
But Gil and his stupidity gave them away
"Actually, we don't have food left, we decided that we will let you all eat, and we will stay hungry, we decided it t the castle, that day only, and we havwnt been eating for a day." He rambled on.
Harry clasped his hand over his mouth to prevent him from rambling, but the others already heard him.
"Gil, stop" uma said as a matter of factly way.
"WHAT" all the auradonians, and some of the Vk's parents like hades, Persephone shouted at them.
"You haven't even eaten?" Belle asked while they nodded no.
"What the hell were you thinking, and now we don't have any food, except for these few fruits, you guys" Ben said worried for their health.
Audrey and queen Ella handed them few fruitsto eat while aurora and Ariel give them water .
The Vk's slowly started eating but Mal stopped midway
Because she could feel her mother's aura slowly approaching the border of Auradon. This was her speciality she could feel her mother's aura from 100 miles away.

The others became concerned when they saw her stopping midway.

"Dark dimension is an another different dimension, which is home to more evil dark fairiesand dark power. There are only 12 keys to open the dimension. Only one key are mentioned in the books, and that is blue fairy and her opposite dark self nox" she said.

"The other 10 are here only, when I call your names, walk forward please" she requested.

"Merlin, his opposite is Icarus" and he stepped forward"
"Tinkerbell and her opposite is Nympradora" she said and she stepped in the front.
"Fairy god mother and her opposite mandragora" she said.
"Lord Hades and his opposite Aidenous, the one of the most powerful of us 12" she said.
"And lastlyshe hesitated..the last is Mal and her opposite is Fae" she said.

While the others gasped.
