family bonding

It has been few hours since mal woke up from her slumber. While the others were talking among themselves chad noticed that the children were rather quite.
"Guys, don't you think our children are rather quite today?" Chad asked the others, who also nodded to him, as realisation struck them.

Its was quite impossible for the children to be quite, on normal days. But today was not.

"Maybe we should do something. We should spend sometime with our children, and sort of have a family bonding time, all together" Ben said.
After pondering, in the idea Ben planted in their heads, the others nodded and agreed.
Each of them, took hold of their children, with bright smiles, and gathered in a one big circle.

"We, should have a sort of family bonding here. We can sing, you can tell stories, anything for the next few hours. All the adults are all yours" Audrey said to the children. They each gave a bright smile, inspite of the situation, that brighten everyone's mood.

"Can, all of our grandma's sing songs, that they sang in their story" Hayden the seven year old son of Ben and mal requested. Hayden was loved and adored by all, cause, during his birth, he almost died, but was later saved. He was quite small in comparison to the children of his age.

They all looked upon to the elder queen's who nodded their heads in response, as Hayden was too adorable to resist .
Each sang their songs, which received lots of applause, even the children made Ben to sing his ridiculous sing, which in the end earned him a kiss, from his slightly blushing wife.

Mal and Evie sang their space between duet, which left quite a few people teary eyed. Among, this bonding, they all, for a few minutes oly, had forgotten about the maleficent situation. They were all one happy big family, enjoying together.

There were so many stories about the adults childhood, which left the children mesmerised. The Olympians, including the second generation, which consists of hercules, mal, uma, macaria, herkie(the children of hercules himself) , Hadie, melody even demonstrated their powers, which left the others in awe. The Vk's childhood, specially Mal's, left everyone really really emotional, but they were happy, cause the Vk's are now with them.

They all were enjoying, when suddenly Mallory, the 12 year old daughter of the king and queen popped a question, "Mom, you'll not die right?" Her innocent mind asked.

Everyone grew silent, in order to hear the answer.

"I don't know Mallory, but I'll try my best. But if in order to save Auradon, if I have to die. Then it will be my honour" mal said.

"No, mal you'll not die" Ben said while the others nodded firmly.
And again they continued their bonding time.
But, this time , Ben rested his hand on her shoulder for the rest of the time being.

"We will see. We will see , what will happen in the future" mal said in her mind and continued to enjoy the time.
