chapter one~ the transfer student

 "echo, wake up it's time for school honey..." the girl opened her eyes slowly as the light from the window filled the room "ugh... is it really necessary to call me by my fake name at home?" the girl's father chuckled a little "you never know who's listening echo... remember your a transfer student from la you can speak Korean well okay?" the girl sat up waving her father off "yeah yeah, get out so I can get ready." her father left the room with a smile on his face as the girl got up the mostly dried blood on her body glowed a dark crimson red in the light. the girl smiled to herself looking in the mirror on her dresser while remembering last night's events, "it won't be long before I can finally avenge you, mamma."

the girl slid off her clothes walking to the bathroom she quickly washed off the blood before putting on her school uniform she sighed looking at the bright grey colors it wasn't her style. she went out of the bathroom quickly putting on some makeup trying to look as normal as possible before pulling off the blood-stained bedsheets she loaded them in the washer as her father watched from the doorway. "I told you not to go out last night... are you sure you can go to school?" the girl chuckled to herself "it's not like I will pay attention to the teacher anyway. I'm leaving now see you later dad."

the girl left the small apartment starting her day as a new transfer student named echo, as echo approached the school she caught the attention of all the students she pulled out her small mp3 player putting the earbuds in her ears ignoring all the small whispers about her. echo entered the teacher's office pulling out her earbuds she asked about her schedule only to be sent to another teacher, "are you Mr. Lin?" echo spoke in an English accent as she tapped the guy's shoulder "yes, you must be the new student? have a seat class starts in ten minutes we'll go to class when the bell rings." echo sat down in front of his desk waiting for the bell.

"Okay, class! settle down... today we have a new student her name is echo she's not very good with Korean so let's be nice. echo you can sit in the back there." echo nodded at went to sit down she put in her earbuds laying her head on the desk as her eyes scanned the tree line outside the window, after a few moments she felt someone tap her side she looked over to find a girl with a short cut light brown hair with a note in her hand as she pointed to a guy in the middle row. echo took the note and read it 'your cute let's meet up tonight.' with a sour face echo looked up at the guy balling up the note she threw it landing it perfectly in the trash can before going back to resting her head on her desk.

as the bell rang echo's head shot up she wasn't sure when she fell asleep or how long she slept for, she watched as everyone left the room the teacher came up to he as she stood up "your classmates are going to lunch fell free to take a walk around the school after your done eating, but don't be late to class." echo nodded standing up she walked out the classroom with her mp3 player she didn't feel like eating so she went to the track to run a few laps. after a few minutes of running, she noticed the guy from class watching her with a few of his friends she sighed and stopped running before looking up at them. the guy waved to her as he made his way down to her.

"it's echo right? your cute." echo looked away from him trying to keep her cool she had no patience for guys like him but she knew she would get in trouble for putting him down right here. "was it supposed to be a secret?" the guy chuckled a little "I'm Sungmin, that's songjun, and minjae. let's be friends?" echo looked at the guys studying their expensive outfits "I don't need friends." she turned away from them "then do you want to be my girlfriend?" echo smirked "no thanks!" she left the track and headed to the bathroom after freshening up she went back to the classroom and waited for the day to be over.
