"In your dreams."-
I walked in through front door of my house, with my chattering friends and sister coming in right behind me. The smell of pasta wafted through my nose causing me to smile in delight as I made my way toward the kitchen.
I walked in to see my mother dressed in her usual blue scrubs, and black nursing shoes. She was turned toward the stove mixing what looked and smelled like pasta sauce around.
"We're home." I spoke, walking over to her placing a light kiss on her cheek.
Just as I spoke, everyone else walked into the kitchen greeting my mother and then going off to who knows where. My friends were very comfortable in my home you could guess. They were practically always here and knew every inch of this place.
"How was your first day?" My mom asked, smiling at me as she turned the stove off.
"It was," I paused finding something to say. Today was a very odd day. I mean I was happy with my scheduling, but what was odd was that I sexually attracted to a boy I have never seen in my life before today. I've never had thoughts like this before and I don't know why I am now. "interesting." I said finishing my sentence.
"Do you like your classes?" She asked me as she placed the lid on the pasta sauce and wiped her hands off of invisible crumbs.
"I love them. Probably the best schedule I've ever at Stratford Hall." I smiled, and it was true.
I've been going to Stratford Hall since kindergarden. It was a K-12th grade school, so I was pretty familiar with every aspect of the school. I didn't start getting a schedule though until my sixth grade year, however, this years schedule was the best and it may or may not be because I have at least three of my classes with Justin.
"That's great." My mother beamed, then suddenly gasped as she looked down at her wrist watch. "I've got to go. The pasta sauce is done and the noodles are in the microwave. Please make sure Bella eats and put a plate away for your father."
She scurried around the kitchen gathering up her things. She had just finished zipping up her jacket when I told her I agreed and she placed a tender kiss on my cheek before leaving the house. She wouldn't be back until I woke up.
Deciding maybe I should go find my friends, I got up from the stool I don't remember sitting in, and made my way upstairs to my bedroom. I knew that they would be in there and my suspicions were confirmed when I heard mumbles come through my door.
I opened my door to see Natalie and Cierra sprawled out across my bed and Mandy tapping away on the screen of her phone. I smiled at them even though they were occupied with their own things and didn't see.
I walked over to my closet and opened the white doors to reveal a big walk in type closet. I walked through the doors as I pulled off my blazer and threw it to the ground. I kicked off my shoes and pulled off my skirt. Digging through one of the drawers in the closet, I pulled out a pair of grey sweatpants and pulled them on over my tan legs. I then grabbed one of the hoodies from a hanger with 'Leafs' written across it and tore off my shirt replacing it with the hoodie.
I walked out of the closet pulling my hair into a high ponytail, when I noticed that all three of my best friends were currently staring at me with the biggest smirks on their faces.
"Why are you guys staring at me like you want to rape me?" I asked them as I finished my hair.
They all looked at each other and gave each other devious eyes until finally Cierra said something.
