She pulled the truck next to a big tree, that had a tire swing attached. I hesitantly got out of the truck grabbing my journal along to. I have been writing all my life's events since I was the age of seven, Im happy I did, or I wouldn't know anything about Kelsey, or what she has gone through for so long. I looked over to where was, sitting on the dock feet dangling in the water. I walked over sitting down next to her.
*** I sat down next to her as she dangled her feet in the water.
"Kelsey?"
when she looked at me, my heart jumped as I saw the sun in her hair and eyes, as if it belonged there.
I pushed her in the lake. She surfaced the water laughing, as that smile made me feel more special. I cant believe or admit the feelings I have for her, as she and I are only ten. *****

"Justin?"
I looked at her and smiled immediately.
"Yea?"
"I wish I had amnesia and you didn't."
I looked at her hand, grabbing it.

"Jus--tine!! St-o-p!"
I was holding her down by the waist, tickling her because she had tried texting rachel, my girlfriend.
"Stoppp justin"
"Nooo give me my phone!"
I looked in her eyes pausing. Ive liked her for so long. I couldn't give her up, all my life I have dated girls but then go back to her, I dated them to get her off my mind.
"I think Im going to break up with rachel."

"Justin? Are you ok? You keep zoning out."
"What age were we when we meet?"
"Since babies."
She shrugged. I looked over to the tree.

We were sitting on her roof, her dad had just left, as I watched her sob, on my chest. I stroked her hair, trying to sooth her. Why did he do this her?
"Why does nobody care for me?"
"If that was true, I wouldn't be here."
"Justin?"
"Yes?"
"Will you remember me in fifty years?"
"I will remember you forever."

"Why do dreams never come true?"
"'Maybe there waiting for someone to make it true."
I know right she is the one for me, and always has been. I wanted to be the person she leans on for the rest of her life.

All the memories flowed back to me, as I looked over to her, I knee it was confession day.
"Kelsey"
"Yea?"
"Everyday of my life, Ive been running from true love, and it seems every time I got close to telling you, was here."
"justin?"
"Im going to stick with tradition."
I pushed her in the lake making her scream, but before she could resurface I jumped in, grabbing her and lifting her in my arms.
"Kelsey, I have saved you from cutting, suicide, your own father, at the time and will continue to save you. Your not a damsel as you have your own way of owning things, you've saved me to, after all I hurt you, you still loved me, I love you Kelsey. Will you be my forever?"
She looked at me with her mouth open, before squeezing me.
"Your back! You remember?"
"Yes, but that doesn't answer my question."
"Of course Ill be yours, I always have been."
I have the only true love I will ever need right here.
