Sitting in the subway booth, I devoured my hoogie. Justin stared at me with his mouth open.

"To think a girl who cuts, wants to give up on life, eats like a pig?"

"Nothing pleases society."

"Then why did you change your look?"

"I have my reasons."

"Explain"

I sighed.

"Why should I explain anything to you? You left me just like he did."

"I didn't--"

"Why did I come?"

"So I can expain what really happened."

"EXPLAIN! WHATS THERE TO EXPLAIN!"

He looked around the room, we had been given stares, as if everything froze.

"Nothing's happening people!"

Justin grabed my hand leading me out the door.

"HEY! My subway!"

"I want to take you somewhere more private."

I rolled my eyes.

"Can't admit to me your wromgs in public?"

"No, but you'll be so embaressed by the time I tell you."

"Tell me what?"

He opened the trucks door and gestured for me to go in. I shook my head, crossing my arms.

"Come on, get in."

"So you can kidnap me....again?"

He sighed.

"I never kidnaped you."

"humbug."

He laughed.

"It's not Christmas, babe, now come on."

He opened the door. I wasn't giving in. He sighed.

"Okay you asked for it."

He picked me up bridal style, making me scream.

"No! I certainly didn't ask for this."

He buckled me in the seat and drove away.

"where are we going?"

"The lake"

I froze, the lake where we had made our own tire swing, and swam in the summer. The place that he glistened in the sun.

"yes that place."

I did't say that allowed, did I?

"No, I just know you well."

"I changed"

"You think you did, but your still my kel, my daisy, and you will always be my sunshine."

I looked at him in awe, but he kept his eyes ahead, which is good, that means he's a good driver.

"oh,"

"I missed you love."

"no babe?"

"Where here."

I looked out to see the sun setting over the Lake, the tire swing was still there, and the dock. I stayed in my seat, I knew if I got out I would fall for his charming trap and tell him everything.

He pulled open my door, and unbuckled my seat belt.

"diccicult or easy?"

I didn't reply.

"Difficult it is."

He carried me out to the dock. Taking off his shoes and socks, he sat on the edge, his feet dangling over.

"Why do you cut"

I looked around at the lake.

"You know, I thought I could get over you."

"what?"

He sighed.

"When your dad left, I saw how broken you were, that someone you loved could leave you, and forget all about you--"

"I have never been broken."

He looked at me, but I looked down at my dangling feet.

"I knew you well enough to know I had to stop him. I followed him on the train, to where he went, and he still lives there. I had spray painted the one wall of the house, I broke the windows in his car and cut the leather seat."

I looked at him my mouth open agape.

"What did he do to you?"

"He came out with the police on the phone, he didn't know it was me untill after he came out, He told me to run and never come back. By then though the police had come."

He sighed.

"That was my first night in jail."

I felt tears in my eyes, and went to hug him. He held me in his arms.

"When I came back, you were distant, and wanted space. I let you have your space, but then I started to like you even more than I had before, you became my everything, so I chickened out and never came back for you. When your exbest friend came to me and said you were a slut, I didn't believe her, untill I saw you with that Blake guy, and by then I had already messed up."

"yea you did, but I also pushed you away."

I didn't know what else to say, so I pushed him in the lake, laughing hystarically, as he splashed around and spewed.

He came up and glared at me, I was laying on the dock laughing when I saw him smirk.

He came up out of the water, dripping above me.

"Your turn."

He lifted me up and threw me in the lake laughing, we splashed around like old times.
