How Did This Happen To Us

The Party

The day went on as normal we talked a little more about his life he even mentioned that his dad was running for mayor in the fall but he didn't seem too excited to talk about that so I just changed the subject back to me. He seemed really interested in my story, i don't know why cause nothing ever happens in the life of Maya Matlin. He mentioned he was having a party and he invited me and all of my friends. So I said sure.

~Friday~

I went home with Tristan and Tori with me. They came over to help get ready for the party. Since it was a pool party I decided on a purple bikini and a basic coverup. We showed up at Miles house and I couldn't believe how many people were already there. Tristan and Tori left me to go find Zoe so I went looking for Miles. I found him by the beer keg and tapped him on the shoulder. He looked at me with amazement. He said "you made it here have a drink." I hesitated for a moment but accepted and sat down with him on the lounge chair. After a couple drinks I was pretty ok but Miles wasn't as well. Most of the people had left by now even Tristan and Tori. Now it was just me and Miles. It was about 1am and he was wobbling around for a little bit. I decide to go for a swim since I hadn't gotten the chance. Miles just sat there and watched remove my tank top and shorts. I cannonballed into the pool and shivered for a second. I swam around for awhile until I heard Miles shout "you know the waters probably freezing." I nodded and layer on my back for a little. He just seemed to watch me. I came up out of the water and asked "where do you keep the towels?" He pointed right next to him which was a pile of white towels on the table. I reached over him and grabbed one wrapped it around my body and sat next to him on the lounge chair. We talked for a bit and he said "you know that beer wasn't that good I don't even think I was actually drunk." I looked into his eyes that were glazed over saying "yeah I guess it really wasn't." He stared into my eyes as well and we kissed he laid me back on the chair and continued locking lips. I gasped for breath and looked at him with need. I kissed him again and started unbuttoning his shirt. He made me drop my towel and wrapped my legs around his waist. We headed to the pool house.
