How Did This Happen To Us

Frankie

Maya's POV

Me and Miles mom got to Frankie's room and she said "Francesca do you mind giving Maya a change of clothes, Miles shirt really isn't enough." She laughed a little at the end and i blushed slightly just from my embarrassment. She went out of the room and I just sighed. Frankie looked at me up and down and said "Don't be worried my mom always does this she's just trying to make you comfortable, so what size are you?" I walked over to her and said "I'm a size 4." she smiled "woah same as me maybe I actually might like you." I giggled and went through her closet trying to find something that was more my style. Frankie was pretty girly almost like I was last year. I finally decided on a pair of denim shortie shorts and a hot pink tank top.

I started hearing some yelling coming from downstairs after I had finished changing. I asked Frankie "Why is your dad and Miles yelling, is it because of me?" She sighed "No they do this all the time its usually my dad who starts it but Miles still fights with him its ridiculous." We sat together on her bed and talked. I found out she's a freshman at degrassi along with her twin brother Hunter. She told me all about their dad's campaign and all kinds of stuff. And of course I told her pretty much all about me, well except for one detail that I left out.

After about another half hour of all the yelling me and Frankie ended up laying on her bed watching Friends when Miles came in looking for me. I got up and went to go hug him. He accepted of course and grabbed my butt and lifted me over his shoulder. I started begging for Frankie to save me but all she could do was laugh at my reaction. We went out the door and down the hall a couple of doors when finally we arrived to our destination. Miles bedroom.

He laid me down carefully on top of his bed and looked me in the eyes. He lowered himself down on me and kissed me really big. I went up for air, sighed and finally asked "What was all that yelling going on downstairs?" He said "Oh you heard that? well its nothing just another fight that me and my dad have on the daily. I looked at him with my sad eyes and said "That's horrible." He brushed my hair back behind my ear and said "Don't cry baby blue, everything's alright now that i'm with you." I smiled at him and leaned forward to capture his lips with mine. It was short but sweet. We laid there for awhile just talking and kissing until I looked at the time. I forgot to call my mom and tell her I was staying over at Tori's house last night and she's probably freaking out by now. I find it in my pocket and see the message my mom sent saying "went out of town for the rest of the weekend grandma needed us at home have fun at Tori's. i sighed with relief and Miles knew then to ask me the one question I didn't know how to answer. He asked me "Wanna stay for dinner?"
