today was a very boring day to say the least but thank god it's friday right?
after a very uneventful day at karate i took off my gi and went to head out the doors, but before i could i was stopped by aisha.
"hey! hawk, miguel, demetri, bert, and i are going to the park i was wondering if you wanted to come with?" aisha asked me.
"i think i might just head home. today hasn't been great for me, sorry." i replied, not really wanting to be anywhere but home at the moment.
"that's totally fine! i'll text you later!" aisha said.
i gave aisha one last wave and headed out the door, making my way to my car and home for some much needed sleep.
when i got home i put my school bag on my bedroom floor and went to bed. my sister wouldn't be home for a little bit so i had some peace and quiet.

i was woken up by my phone going off. i checked the caller ID to see that it was aisha calling me.
"hey aisha what's up?" i asked, my voice a bit rough from just being woken up.
"hey liz! look, i know you said you just wanted to be home right now BUT yasmine is throwing a party at the canyon later so we're gonna get there before her and we need as many people there as we can get so i was wondering if you wanted to come?" aisha spoke, rather quickly, but not too quick as i could still understand her.
"yeah yeah i'll go. what time?" i asked.
"5:30. i don't care what time you get here." she explained.
"okay i'll be there." i spoke.
"thank you so much liz!" aisha exclaimed.
as aisha hung up i checked the time, 4:45.
i decided to quickly take a shower and eat something before heading to the canyon.
aisha had texted me the address to the canyon.
i decided to throw on some black ripped jeans, a sweatshirt that read 'puppy saved from overdose' on the front, and some black vans.
before i knew it, it was 5:20 so i grabbed an apple and made my way to the canyon.
when i got there, there were a bunch of people. i could tell yasmine was already there by the fact that demetri was awkwardly staring at her, oh and her car was parked near mine.
