it was finally wednesday. i know, i know. wednesday, there's nothing special about wednesday. but we got today off from karate. every wednesday. weird, i know but i'm thankful for it. i was about to roll over and go back to sleep when my phone buzzed.
groaning, i picked up my phone from the bedside table, checking it.
sam
hey liz! i was wondering if you wanted to come to the mall with me, robby, and demetri?
yeah i can totally come.
great! we'll come pick you up in 20 minutes.
cool cool cool. i'll see y'all then.
see ya!
i checked the time on my phone. 1:15.
holy shit i slept in late.
i got up and got dressed, put concealer under my eyes to 'conceal' the dark circles, and put mascara on.
i grabbed my bag and headed to the kitchen to wait for sam to show up.
about five minutes later i heard a knock on my door. i opened the door, revealing a very excited looking sam.
"you ready?" she smiled.
"hell yeah. let's go!" i said as i closed my door hearing sam laugh.

"soooo what are y'all taking about?" i asked, sitting down at the table robby and sam were at, demetri following close behind.
"this." sam said as she showed me robby's driver's license.
"oh my god. robert swayze keene. really?" i laughed as i took the license out of sam's hands.
"like i explained to sam, my mom loves patrick swayze." robby told me, chuckling as he took the little identification card out of my hand.
"you seem happier today." sam spoke, turning her head to me.
"yeah and nicer." demetri said, taking a bite of his chicken.
"i'm nice when i want to be." i joked.
"wait!" demetri exclaimed, suddenly standing up from his seat and putting his hands on the table.
