Uma pov:

Harry's condition became worse with the hour...
It's been two weeks by now and the nurse said that he wouldn't survive...
I didn't tell Jamie that yet, it would've broken her little heart...
She was now talking to Harry for a bit and I stood on the hallway, trying to put my brave face for Jamie up again...
I took a deep breath and walked into the room again.
"Is mommy okay?" Jamie asked and I quickly faked a smile.
"Yes sweety mommy is fine."
"Hey kid, listen... I won't be able to be home for your sixth birthday... So I went to the giftshop here in the hospital so I could still give you a lil' somthing..." Harry said as he took a small teddybear out of... Where ever he hid that thing and gave it to Jamie.
"It's so fluffy!!!" she said and Harry smiled a little.
"I gues that means that you like it honey..." he said and Jamie looked at him.
"No. I LOVE IT!!!"
I saw that it actually meant a lot to Harry to see Jamie smile like that and I took his hand.
He looked at me and we both knew that it wouldn't last long...
It was just too soon.
Jamie looked at Harry.
"You and mommy are the best! You gave me this teddybear and mommy said I was getting a little sister!"
"Jamie-!" I said and Harry looked at me.
"You're pregnant...?"
I sighed.
"Yea... Already before you took the cancer test... I just never found the right moment to tell you since..."
Harry swallowed and Jamie looked at us.
"Do mommy and daddy need to talk alone?" she said with such a cute voice and I looked at her.
"Just a moment, okay?"
She nodded and went to the hallway.
"So now I won't be able to see Jamie grow up and I will never meet our second child..." Harry said and I sighed.
"I'm so sorry..."
"Don't be sorry for me, be sorry for them. They will both grow up without their father and one of them will never know her father."
I swallowed.
"Jamie missed you a lot the past weeks..."
"Yea, she told me..."
"I think you're her favourite parent... When I said that at least I was there for her... She kept yelling that she wanted you home..."
"I..."
Harry didn't know what to say and that was understandable.
I looked at him.
"How am I ever going to tell her once you passed away? How am I supposed to explain to her why her daddy won't come home?"
Harry took my hand.
"I have no idea... If our rolles were the other way around, I wouldn't even be able to bear the fact to tell her that... That kid she's just..."
"Too sweet for this cruel world..."
"Yea... That..."
The nurse walked in.
"I must ask you to leave, he's going to need his rest." she said and I nodded.
"I'll be back tomorrow." I said and I kissed his forehead.
"Counting on it..." Harry said.

The next day was pretty rough, Jamie didn't want to go to school again because she was missing her dad and I couldn't possibly force her.
I sighed and looked at her to try to convice her.
"Look sweety, I know you want your daddy here, but it's not gonna help him to be here in stead of at school, you need the school for your future. Your dad has worked so hard to get all of this for us, for you. You don't want to waste al that, right?"
Jamie shoke her head and I looked at her.
"Come on, I'll bring you to school. Okay?" she nodded and I brought her to school.
Fairy godmother looked at Jamie.
"You're a bit late dear..."
"It's a long story fairy godmother... With all the stuff with Harry and all that..." I said and Fairy godmother sighed.
"That's not an excuse but... I get it. Go to class Jamie, I want to talk to your mother for a sec, okay?"
Jamie looked at her.
"Am I in trouble? I promise it won't happen again!"
"You're not in trouble..."
Jamie smiled an ran to class, then I saw a part of that teddybear Harry gave her, sticking out of her backpack and I sighed.
"I'm sorry fairy gosmother, Jamie she is just-"
"Worried about her father. I get it."
"It's being way too hard on her, especially when she finds out he's never coming home..."
"What do you mean?"
"They say he isn't going to... to make it."
I felt the tears behind my eyes and one of them escaped...
Fairy godmother looked at me.
"Yea, I heared it... Harriette told me when she dropped Jack of earlier this week."
"Jack?"
"Her son."
"Since when does she have a freaking son?"
"Since seven years ago. Didn't you know?"
"No...?"
"Oh. I'm sorry. I assumed you knew since she is Harry's sister after all..."
The school bell rang and fairy godmother looked at me.
"I have to get going... I'm sorry..."

So I went straight to the hospital after that conversation.
"Hey..." Harry said, then he saw my expression en he looked at me.
"Everything okay?"
"Did you knew Harriette had a son?"
Harry burst out in laughter.
"My sister, a son? Yea right!"
"His name is Jack... Fairy godmother and I talked a bit and then she said that..."
"Hold up, you're being serious?" Harry said and I nodded.
"He's seven according to fairy godmother."
"Why didn't she tell us?"
"I don't know..."
"What the hell..."
Harry's expression changed too and I looked at him.
"Are you okay?"
"I... The nurse said I didn't had much time..."
"You mean that you..."
Tear welled up in my eyes and Harry took my hand.
"I'm gonna die today..."
I swallowed and Harry looked at me.
"My sisters and my mom came by earlier this morning... I already said goodbye to them..."
"What the hell... Harry I-"
"It's okay Uma..."
He squeezed my had softly and I saw that he was fighting for each breath and I looked at him.
"Close your eyes and go." I said and a few tears fell down my cheeks.
"I don't want to go..."
"I don't want you to go either... But I don't want you to suffer this much either."
"You know I've always been stubborn..."
"Then maybe tis time you shouldn't be..."
His grip on my hand weakend and I looked at him.
"It's okay..."
He swallowed and looked at me.
"I'm afraid to die..." he whispered and I looked at him.
"It's okay to be afraid..." I whispered and for once he listend to me as he closed his eyes... and never opend them again.
