"What do you mean she's dead?" Ashton asked.
"I'm sorry, sir," the man standing in front of him said, "We did everything we could."
Tears started to stream down Ashton's face. That grief turned into anger, and Luke managed to drag his best friend out of the hospital before he had the chance to punch a wall. Ashton didn't get any sleep that night.
