Chapter Two: Blood Is a Drug

Hope POV

I vamp sped into Grace's room and saw something on the floor. I picked it up. A rock with a note on it. It read,

"borrowing my granddaughter for a while. Don't worry she's safe with me. Love you, Hope. Always & Forever, Klaus"

I groaned as I carried the rock and note to my dresser. I finished curling my hair and I took my phone and headphones off of my end table. I left a note saying,

"Matt, me and Grace are out having fun. Thanks for making me watch her. *I rolled my eyes* I really miss you lots. Please, call me. Love you always and forever ❤ (by the way my heart was really crappy) love, bae" I set the note on Matt's mirror that's connected to his dresser. Its weird that I say bae. Technically, bae doesn't mean, 'before anyone/anything else'. After I left that note, I vamp sped to the jeep and drove to my dads house. Yay, fun. No. Not really.

It took me a while to get there. But, I was driving like a crazy women so I got there in hours. Only about six or seven hours rather than ten hours. I stepped out of my car and vamp sped to the door and opened it. I stepped inside and looked around. "Dad? Dad where the hell are you? I didn't drive all this way to be blood thirsty for nothing. Now, give me back my child!" I opened the fridge door. No blood bags. Oh, I forgot. My dad likes it from the vain. "Dad?" I asked seeing a male figure from afar. I rushed over to see no other than, my husband. "Matt! Why the hell are you at my dads house?" I squeezed him. "Can't breathe." Matt breathed for air. I let go and apologized, "sorry. I'm just so happy to see you." I kissed him like four times.

I frowned when I saw Grace drinking blood. From a human. "Grace!" I yelled and rushed over to her seeing my father right behind her. "Welcome to the party. Isn't that right, Matt?" Matt nodded. I feel bad for doing this but, I was is thirsty. I vamp sped back to Matt and stuck my sharp vamp teeth into his neck. Matt got weaker and weaker and I realized that I was doing this to him. I pulled away with blood dripping from my mouth and tears filled my eyes. Matt tried to keep his eyes open but, he couldn't. I couldn't do this again. I gave him my blood. He drank and healed. He stood up and I hugged him. Then he fell to the ground. I snapped his neck.

He's going to be a monster like me, now! Its all my fault. But, she'll be immortal. I'm stronger than him as well as my family and most other vampires. She might be strong as me. I'm worried. Wait, her mother is a hybrid and father is human that means that she's already had blood and so has Nicklaus. "Nik, thanks so much for making me realize something. They already had blood. Her mom is a hybrid and part hybrid is part vampire." I explained. I'm so stupid for just now realizing this.

I've been putting blood in their koolaid and grapefruit juice. Other drinks as well. I'm just now really thinking about it. *shaking my head at my stupidness* "You now your kids need human blood from the neck. Why are you denying it? You know I'm right, Hope." "I don't want my kids to be like you! Like me! Okay?!" "Okay." Dad smirked. I said, 'okay?' and he said, 'okay.' Its from The Fault In our Stars . I rolled my eyes and heard a gasp. I looked at Matt. He is feeling he's heart and chest to see if he's actually alive. I vamp sped over to him and helped him stand up.

He realized that I'm the one that made him blood thirsty and he is now in transition.

When he smelled the blood his fangs showed as well as his vains under his eyes. I held Matt back. "Blood! Blood.." He realized that he wanted blood. He shook his and denied that he's going to have to drink blood or die. "What'd you do to me? All I think about is blood." Matt screamed in pain when his teeth fully came in. Matt continued, "All I crave is, blood!"
