Apologies for how long it took me to write this. I'm in spring half term now so i'll try and update as casual as I can :)

There was a repetitive ticking sound coming from the small, aggravating clock, sat high on Charlie's wall. Bothersome it was, however, it gave Charlie some sort of comfort. Drowning out the loud and chilling noises of the outside world. A world she aspired to help others get out of eventually.

Tossing and turning, Charlie opened her eyes from her shallow and unsuccessful sleep. Jolting upwards in her hefty bed, she peered over to the source of the ticking. The time was almost twelve- thirty in the morning. Her mind was filled with uncomfortable thoughts, flowing in her head like a windy day.

She hated every single little thought, they were all negative. Memories and flashbacks, haunting and taunting her every move.

Jumping out her bed, she walked over to her dresser and turned on a small lamp placed on the desk attached to it. This gave her enough light to peer in the mirror.

Big, dark, heavy bags were visibly seen under her eyes. The usual, welcoming yellow of her big, perky eyes were surrounded by a crimson red.

Just as Charlie went to go back into bed, leaving the lamp on for minimal comfort. A thought popped in her head. One she didn't want to allow herself to think of.

Vaggie

Where was she now?

Does she still love her?

Did she ever stop?

Is she safe?

Does she have a new lover?

What's she doing right now?

The surrounding, clambering thoughts made Charlie crazy.

"Well...No way i'm going back to sleep at this rate..." Charlie mumbled to herself in a tired state.

Slipping on a pare of neon pink, fluffy slippers, she tip toed out of her bedroom. With no destination in her head, she quietly walked down the dark halls.

Getting an idea, she walked a little quicker and found her old fashioned candle holder already with a candle in it, on a near by windowsill. With her powers, she set it a flame.

She knew where it was because it definitely wasn't the first time she had got up and wondered around.

But beside the point...

She continued to wonder herself down the now, dimly lit halls. Again, with no destination.

However, all of a sudden she came to a halt, and she turned her head to the tall door in front of her face.

It was Alastor's room...

Finally, turning her body round to the door, so she was fully facing it, she sighed.

Have I peaked to such a low level i'm seeking comfort from the coldest in hell?

...Aside from my dad.

Yep...Okay i'm doing this.

Charlie gave the door three quiet, but loud enough to hear, knocks. Instantly, she jerked back and started panickly pacing.

Should I hide?

Oh dear...

What if I make him angry?

The door swiftly swung open. Standing there was the Radio Demon. Though he could see her as clear as day, she could only just make out the features on his face.
