Chapter 34 - Guilty

Yoongi is squirming..tears welling up on his eyes and Rin is trying to wake him up. Panic rose to her when he mumbled something..

"Wildfire.."

"What happened to Hyung?" Jungkook asked.

Rin looked at Jungkook, concerned evident to her face.."I think he's having a nightmare.. I've been trying to wake him up but it's not working.."

They are currently in her house and Yoongi slept immediately to her couch due to exhaustion. He is the Team Captain of their school's basketball team and they are having a tournament. Good thing they won so all the hard work is paid off, but his friends knew this will happen when he's tired..

"He's always like that when he's tired. Sometimes we hear him screamed on his sleep in the middle of the night.." Jin said while looking at his friend.

"Why? Did he told you what he's been dreaming?"

The guys averted their eyes everywhere but not on her but Namjoon answered her..

"Uhh.. he's dreaming about you..he told us that it's a beautiful dream, a memorable one to be exact, but he told us that it's also his nightmare.."

Rin got dumbfounded..now she's feeling guilty..

"So.. I'm his..nightmare?" She whispered. She looks at Yoongi again who's not squirming now but still crying in his sleep..

"Not exactly..when you left without saying goodbye.. that is his nightmare.." Jin hesitantly answered her.

Taehyung is now crying. The other guys held a somber look, tears threatening to fall but they suppressed it. Actually, all of them felt the same..what Yoongi is feeling is the same exact feeling to them so they can't comment on anything..They are all scared..scared to be left behind again..by her.

"Please.." Yoongi jolted forward. His breathing hard and fast as if he's drowning. He blinks his eyes fast then frantically looked for someone until his eyes bore to Rin. He immediately hugged her as if his life depends on it.

"You're here..Thank God.. Please don't leave me again.. I'll do anything..just..please don't leave..I-I love you.." She froze with his confession. He snuggled close to her while she starts to caress his back, trying to soothe his aching heart.

"I'm sorry, Kitten. You're Wildfire is very bad.. I'm really sorry.. Please forgive me.." She whispered to his ears.

Yoongi slightly pushed her so that he can face her then he shakes his head, "No.. You're not bad.. You're good..too good for me..I just love you too much and that's my problem..so please don't say sorry.."

Rin tenderly caress his face then she leaned forward, she gently kisses the remnants of his tears in his cheeks to his jaws, then she captures his lips. Tender, loving kiss that he deserved.

When she pulled away, she placed her forehead to his. Trying to convey her silent promise through this. She looked at him and the boys behind who's quietly watching them, she says..

"I promise I'll make it up to you, to all of you..I promise.."

'What have I gotten myself in to' she's on her queen size bed, lying alone. Trying to process everything that happened earlier.

The boys already left to their apartment so that they could give her some space. Yoongi didn't want to leave but they told him that they're coming back tomorrow so he somberly left with others.

She felt guilty for all of them because she knew it's her fault. Almost all of them, experienced that cruel way of being left behind by her, except Jin.. although, she left him hanging after he told her that he wanted to be kept in touch which she directly refused and immediately walked away. It's just that she thought that all the boys are all the same. They just want a one time thing, nothing personal, same with her..no feelings attached, just their bodies.. it's just the pleasure..but not with these boys. They got too attached to the feeling and they already gave their heart, while she..she unknowingly hurting them for months, maybe even years..she really didn't quite remember the exact time. Good thing, she can still remembers the events or they will actually think that they are just like the others, it's already a bad thing that she can't remember their faces.

"What should I do? They already know that this is just temporary, right? No relationship like this will last a lifetime.. besides, I need to go back home.." her voice trailed off, remembering the responsibility that awaits her when she goes home..

"I'll just make sure that they will feel loved all the time, while I'm still here.."

She sadly hugged her pillow on the side while tears run down the corners of her eyes.
