She grudgingly followed behind Roman, muttering various curses under her breath in different languages at him, having removed the makeshift gag.

He returned to one of the tables nearby, strapping on multiple weapons and packing things into a bag. He swung it over his shoulder then continued to a car nearby. He didn't look over his shoulder once to check whether she was coming. Apparently, he had that much faith in his abilities.

She walked slowly behind him, not really seeing another option. She most likely wouldn't be able to flee, and even if she did, she wouldn't end up in the same place as her brother.

As they got to the car, which stood out boldly from the others, sleeker and dark red, whereas the others were black SUVs. He chucked his stuff in the back, and just as she was making her way around to the other side, he grabbed her arm, gently, but firmly enough to push her back against the car as he trapped her there, staring down at her.

His eyes bored into hers as she looked up at him, defiantly silent. He smirked arrogantly, slipping his hand in her pocket and pulling out the knife she had stolen off a table as they walked past.

He twirled it, raising an eyebrow at her, before tucking it into his jacket.

As his intense grip left hers and he turned around, she swiftly kicked the back of his knee so he stumbled to the ground. She smirked and walked around to the other side of the car, sliding in and waiting for the now angry man to get in.

He got in, fixing his eyes on hers for a second, without any emotion before starting the car and driving. She swore she saw a flash of amusement.

"So, why did you want some bonding time?" She asked boldly, settling her feet up on the dash.

He watched her actions for a second before turning back to the road.

"Oh come on. You're the one who trapped me in a car with you for two days. The least you can do is spill your family secrets. Tell me about your brothers."

He kept his amber eyes on the road.

"We don't need to make this road trip painful. Stop talking." He told her flatly.

"Wow. Now I really want to kill you. I'm going to keep asking you questions. And if you still don't reply then I'm going to pull out this dagger and stab you." She said steadily, pulling out a dagger from her top.

He looked with mild surprise at the dagger but didn't seem too fazed.

She kept on asking him questions until eventually, after around the 17th question, he slowed the car down and pulled over to the side.

Celia stiffened slightly as he got out of the car and walked around to her side, clutching the dagger tightly in her hand, ready to use it if necessary.

He opened the door, catching her lunging hand easily and plucking the dagger from it, before holding both hands in one warm one of his.

She kicked him in the ribs and he just recoiled slightly before using his body to pin hers. He looked at her scathingly, before quickly pulling up her gag, to which she rolled her eyes and glared at his close face.

"You thought you could escape like that?" He questioned disbelievingly, his eyes challenging her's in a patronizing manner.

"It was worth a try." She answered, making her move.

She easily threw his body off hers and kicked him again, causing darker anger to fleck in his eyes.

He caught her hands again and easily undid her feet, leaving them loose out of their handcuffs.
