The Castle was exactly how Harry remembered. The nostalgia was almost unbearable, but he refused to cry and show weakness in front of Malfoy. For the first time since the Harry had left Hogwarts, he felt at home. He almost expected if he pushed open the door to the great hall Dumbledore would be sitting there at the head of the table.

Draco had hoped he would never have to return to this place. The place that had sparked his nightmares, his constant aching anxiety. No. He refused to think of it. His gut told him that he needed to be here. And it was hardly the castles fault his childhood and teen years had been lonely and fearful. He regretted deeply ever looking up to his Father and letting his younger years be fuelled by ignorant beliefs. He knew better now. This was his chance to make up for the pain he had caused others.

McGonagall strode towards them "I see you have both made it" she gave a curt nod "I will show you to your rooms, the feast is in an hour which should give you plenty of time to settle in." As she turned away she smiled softly to herself. Harry scrambled to catch up with Minerva and Malfoy who had already began to walk away.

McGonagall lead them down the corridor on the top floor. Students weren't permitted to be on this floor as it was strictly rooms for teachers. The hall was filled with rows of doors, each with a teachers name on it. Many were extremely decorative with flags of country's and Quidditch teams, animals carvings that's leaped about fighting and playing, one had real flowers growing up it. As they reached the end of the hall McGonagall stated "Well Harry, Draco these are your rooms. I hope you find them to be comfortable, if you have any questions don't hesitate to come ask me directly." And with that's she smile the strode away down the hall. The rooms were opposite each other at the very end of the hall. Harrys door was plain oak. "I'll have to decorate it tomorrow" Harry thought. He took a second to admire the copper label on his door that read 'Harry Potter' and underneath 'Defense again the Dark Arts Professor'. He glanced to his left and noticed the door next to him read 'Filius Flitwick, Charms Professor'. Harry blinked in surprise and thought "I'm glad he's still knocking about." He grinned to himself before opening the door.

Draco smirk as he walk down the corridor. Everything was so over the top. Clearly none of these baffoons had any sense of class. All those flags and posters...and were those real flowers?! He glanced over at Potter who was staring in awe. He sighed, making a bet with himself that Potters door was going to be even more ecstatic than half of these by tomorrow evening. He was relieved to find his own door was unscathed and uncluttered and he was determined it would stay that way. Before opening the door he smiled gently and the sliver label that beautifully contrasted with the Dark wood of the door. The label read 'Draco Malfoy' and underneath 'Potions Master'. He opened the door and stepped inside.
