I swam through the portal door and fell onto my face on the metal ground. I bounced back up and the portal disappeared.

I heaved. I wonder where they where going to take the others. It didn't take a detective to know that this metal place with a darkned glass ahead of me meant I was in a interrogation room.

I sat down in the chair. The only item that was in the room. "What did you do with Matthew?" I shouted.

"You look dehydration. Please be patient while we get you food. Also, if you try to do anything they-"

"Will shoot a hole through me, yeah, yeah. I got it." I said mocking him. I don't know where the voice came from, so I looked around the room. I stood up and examined the walls. Above the glass, a speaker was installed in the wall.

"So that's where the voice came from." I mumbled to myself. The door behind me opened and a little girl in a purple robe held a plate of food. She sat it on the ground and looked me in my eyes.

She turned around and closed the door behind her. "What was all that about, Laine?" I asked dumbfounded.

I waited, but no response was made. I sat down on the floor and fist fed myself the cheeseburger. After I wolfed it down, I drunk the strange liquid in my cup

A loud burp escaped my mouth. "Excuse me." I said. I hadn't realized until now how hungry I had been. As I sat, quietly waiting to hear Laine's voice, the girl who brought me my food kept popping is to my mind.

She had walked in causally, but when she saw me it looked like she had gotten frightened.

"Why are you keeping me here. Are you afraid to seek me like the rest of the Shaniex are?" I said with a smirk.

The door in front of me opened and in stepped an angry Laine. The big grin across my face only made him look even more furious.

"I assure you weakling, none of my people are scared of you. You should be scared of because-" Laine stopped and a sly grin appeared on his face. He knew something that I didn't.

I watched him as he walked closer. "Tell me everything that Nyssa told you."

"What's so different from Posiedon's answer. We all saw and experienced the same things in the Astral World." I told him proudly. I wonder if Matthew had told what happened during our visit.

"I'm just trying to get everyone's alibi. The only person's that I don't have is yours and I know Nyssa likes to make favorites." Laine said with a sneer.

I practically looked through him. "I don't believe a word out of your mouth. Matthew would never, but your own spawn I know would. He's working for you all anyway." I said. The look of surprise and fear crossed his face again.

"I guess your race just isn't good at keeping secrets." I said laughing.

Laine stomped his foot against the floor, but everything began to shake for a moment. Then there was dead silence. I stared at Laine while he stared at me.

"What all can you do?" I asked him curiously.

"I can steal your soul or control your body. Make you die or give you life and oh so much more. I will show you that of what I can do if you do not tell me what happened in the Astral World." Laine spoke through his gritting teeth.

I opened my mouth as if I was about to tell him. "Bite me!" I said chopping my teeth together.

Laine yelled and ran towards me. I quickly got off the ground, ready to punch him in his face, but right as I fist was about to connect, he teleported behind me, striking me in the back. I stumbled towards the ground, but kept myself steady.

He went for a punch, but I blocked the hit with my arm. I kicked him hard in his stomach and went for the face, but I ended up punching through the purple mist.

"Stop using your powers and give me a real fight." I said with my fist up.

He materialized out of the mist and came running like an angry mother bear and I was ready to duck, but the mist engulfed around his hand. Before I could react, I was on the ground laying on my back with the mist trapped around my throat.

It kept growing tighter as Laine rose off of me smiling. I grabbed at my throat, barely able to breath.

"Stop it!" I heard a voice command. I was beginning to lose all my sense. My vision blurred and dizzy. I was about to pass out, but then the pressure from the mist released and I took a giant gasp of air.

Laine yanked me from off the ground and onto my feet. "Thats what I'm capable of and so much more." Laine said and then pushed me through the portal.

When we came out I fell onto my knees in a humongous lab. Someone was helping me off the ground and I looked up at Matthew.

"Are you ok?" Matthew asked me. I nodded. Posiedon stood beside him in his own world.

People in lab coats and mask came from behind us put of the portal. "Let me go!" I demanded as a pair of hands took me by my arms.

They pulled me over to a seat and pushed me down. "What are you doing? Matthew?" I yelled as I could hear Matthew's yell of fear.

One of the scientist held me down as another one placed tight straps over me. After they had finished, I was unable to move.

A loud gasp came from around the room. I struggled to see where it came from and I looked at a shocked Posiedon.

I looked at what he was looking at and gasped myself. He was alive and walking like the dream wasn't real.

The old man had grey skin that was so wrinked that it threatened to fall off his face at any moment

It was the one and only King Guap. Then the memory of Nyssa's memory popped into my head.

I shuttered. He wasn't just going to transform me into a Shaniex. He was going to do it to all of us.
