Chapter 13- All Is Revealed

I kept seeing Matthew over and over again saying he was sorry and his stomach being blown out. I couldn't stop the noises but I closed my eyes and wrapped myself in a ball and began to let lose every emotion I had been having since I got kidnapped.

  I just wish someone would wake me up from this nightmare and tell me that none of this happened. That I ever was a Phoniex Five, a shaniex, and even know about them. I wish it could go back to me and Matthew as best friends in high school trying to survive but something tells me that will never happen again.

The only thing I'd miss was Nyssa and expecially Claire but if I could give them up to bring Matthew back to life, I sure would. I miss Matthew so much. I couldn't imagine life being without my best friend in the world. We've know each other since birth.

I was still curled in a ball on the floor and hearing the recurrence over and over again of Matthew dying but then the sound stopped. I was confused because it stopped out of nowhere. I took my head out of my arms and looked up. Everything around me was the color neon bright green.

It was blinding either, it was beautiful. I uncurled out of my ball and wiped my eyes from the tears streaming down my face.

  "I just wanna die now! Will you please kill me now! Do whatever with my body or me. There's no more pain you can cause me to suffer. Everything I have ever carried about is gone." I screamed loudly and then turned into a whisper.

A shimmering started appearing in the air far infront of me. The shimmering was starting to make a form. I started backing up When it's shape stopped shimmering, it was the shape of a human. The human was all solid neon green. It was beginning to turn a human color. I was scared. What is going on.

I turned around and was about to run away until I someone yelled. "STOP! PLEASE, WAIT!"

Goosebumps came all over my skin. I recongnized that voice. I turned around slowly and scared. When I had turned all the way around, I saw the person who had just been murdered right infront of me. It was Matthew. I ran to Matthew and I opened my arms. I expected to be in Matthew's arms but I went straight through him and fell on the floor.

I hit my chin on the floor went I fell down. It hurt really bad too. "What the heck." I said getting up and rubbing my jaw. "You can't touch me but I can talk to you I think. Something is talking to me and telling me I was brought here by it. Its, its, its.... the Phoniex!" Matthew said confused

"It's telling me stuff to tell you. It's saying that you don't need to give up. No one can kill you yet. Use that to your advantage. I told you would go through struggles but when you walked out that door, you agreed to them." Matthew had started saying but by the end of it, it was the Phoniex talking through Matthew.

"Ok. Fine. I know what you said but you should have told me that Matthew would die." I yelled at the Phoniex inside Matthew's body.

"Did you forget you are one of the Phoniex Force? You have powers no one has ever had before. Use them. Maybe one might be bringing people back to life. Who knows? It's your choice on whether you want to actually use your powers and learn about your abilities no one else has or can tame!" Matthew said smiling at me.

It felt so weird talking to Matthew but it wasn't actually him. "Also do you not remember Nyssa went for help. Help will be there soon. All I can tell you now is that you need to use those powers you have and keep everyone else you love or your friends from dying." Matthew told me.

I huffed and looked at the ground. "No I don't because there is no one else I love or any friends left to save." I replied back to Matthew.

"Look at me! This is important!" I raised my head off the ground and looked into Matthew's eyes.
