Everyone had put their guns down and went back to what they were doing. "I'm sorry." I apologized to everyone. I wrecked the game room. I felt so bad. I dropped my head to the ground feeling miserable. I wonder how I was gonna fix that. I was just standing there while everyone stared at each other and then gradually began to go back to the things they were doing.
"Come on! Follow me." Maleah told me. I looked up and followed Maleah as she started walking toward the big white tree.
"Why are we going to that big white tree?" I asked Maleah confused. Maleah didn't answer me. Maleah just kept walking towards the big white tree. Maleah went up to the white tree and turned around. "This is where we use portals. You'll learn how to use your powers soon, but for now, take my hands." Maleah said smiling and held her hands out.
I took Maleah's hand and then everything around me began to swirl and close in together. We came out the portal and I didn't feel sick. I noticed that we were out of a huge building.
"This is the building where we find the others who are like us." Maleah told me.
"Go on in!" Maleah said and laughed.
I nodded and I opened the door as it creaked loudly. I walked inside and I noticed that it was completely dark. I felt the wall for a light, but I couldn't find it.
"We don't use lights here because of our powers." Maleah said walking ahead of me as if the lights were on.
"What do you mean?" I asked Maleah as tried to follow her.
"Every Shaman has the power to see in the dark. No matter where you are and the good part about it is that it's like the lights never go off." Maleah said with excitement.
"What happens when you need to sleep? You have to forever sleep in light?" I asked Maleah as I stood still.
"No. Here they teach you how to control it and cut it on or off. Until we teach you we will make lights here. I'll have to get Nyssa to gwt some in here. I'll be back. I have to call Nyssa." Maleah said as she walked away into the darkness.
I kept looking around myself trying to make myself see in the dark. It wasn't working and was giving me a headache. I couldn't stand being in the dark anymore. I turned around and started heading for the door. Right as my feet went across the line, my head started throbbing in pain. It was so painful that I fell to the ground.
There was an itching in my head. I didn't know how to stop it. I screamed out in pain and I closed my eyes tight. Then I started to see images. It showed a fox that had a trail of fire running in the snow. The fox was running from something. I could feel the fox was frightened and scared. Then the aura around the fox turned turned a orange color and kept getting bright.
When the brightness went down. I noticed that the fox wasn't there anymore. What looked like hunters, stopped where the fox was and looked around confused. They had pitch forks and torches and guns in their hands. Then I was woken wake. I opened my eyes and I saw Nyssa, Claire, Matthew, and Maleah standing on front of me.
"I think the hospital has fallen in love with you!" Matthew told me and they all laughed.
I noticed I was in a hospital bed, but not in the hospital. We were in a completely white room.
"Where am I?" I asked them.
"Your still in the same building, but your just in the recovery room." Nyssa told me.
I sat up quick. All of them looked confused.
"I just saw a images of the fox." I said without looking at their faces.
"What? Nyssa asked me with confusion. Then Nyssa asked me again, but with more demand.
I told everyone to sit down and I told everyone what I had seen when I closed my eyes.
"That's not really a image. It was a vision." Claire said in awe. That's kind of how I found you or you found me. I've never had a vision until you were disvovered. No everyone is having one." Claire said.
"What do you mean everyone?" I asked them.
No time for questions. If what you said was actually a vision, than he's in danger and we need to find him before someone else does.
Nyssa took Claire by the arm and they walked out the room. Maleah walked out behind them.
"Get dressed. Quickly! Your gonna love the place that we are going!" Matthew told me with a smile as he shut the door behind him.
