Also, wtf happened to this story and why has it suddenly blown up?

Ima take a break from taking requests for about two stories since my brain has just started functioning again.

Fluff

Zed sits down, stupid fucking Ionia. They never stopped fighting, whether it was Noxus doing something dumb, Xayah getting all pissed off, or just Ionians fighting within each other. He sighs heavily, but his thoughts get interrupted. He heard sniffling like someone was crying? He was sitting near The Garden of Forgetting.

Garden of Forgetting is the place in Ionia that has flowers that make people forget about memories and such

Zed snuck around and saw a fox... not a fox, a human. Fox? Human? Oh. Vastyan. He drew his blades, sometimes Vastayans were aggressive and he didn't want to deal with it anymore. She sensed him, her ears flinched and she turned around. Holy shit, she was beautiful.

"O-oh..." she gets up, "I'm sorry, was I in your way?"

Zed hides his blades, "No, of course not. Are you alright?"

She nods and keeps her gaze at the ground, her eyes were swollen from crying so much, "I..." her voice trails off, "Sorry, you probably didn't want to see that going on a walk through the forest, right?" She laughs a bit.

"Heh, kinda. It's fine though, are... are you okay?" Zed mentally kicks himself, what a dumb question to ask 'are you okay' of course she's not okay she's crying in the middle of th-

She laughs a bit, but it wasn't a genuine laugh. A laugh that was trying to cover up the pain, "No, I'm actually far from it. But I've been crying here for too long and my head is starting to hurt so I should probably get goinnnngg...."

Her voice was trailing off again and the air filled with a scent Zed's never smelled before, but it was making him sleepy...

WAKE UP

His eyes opened quickly and he jolted up, he was lying next to her still. He felt tired again, he needed to get out of here. Zed stands up quickly and starts to leave, then he turns back around.

What about her?  Well what about her, she's a random vastaya you met just hours ago, why do you even care to-

She rolls over and hugs her tails close to her, she was crying in her sleep.

Who hurt her so badly? Zed wanted to know, he wanted to know a lot more about her but he wanted to know what hurt her. Who hurt her. Something about her just drew him to her, but why? He picks her up and she mumbles in her sleep making him both shocked and blush, she was definitely beautiful.

Zed lets himself melt into the shadows with her, he moves faster in here than anywhere else. Maybe he'd be able to get back to where the rest of the Shadow Order is without them noticing where he had gone to.

"Master?" Ah, right. As if he would have a moment of silence here, "What are you- A vastayan?!"

Zed nods but waves him off, "She's harmless, I promise."

He looks at her and blushes, "W-where did you even find her?"

"The Garden of Forgetting."

He looks confused, "Why was a vastayan there?"

Zed shrugs, "Go back to sleep, you have a long day ahead of you tomorrow."

"Yes, Master." He walks back to his room reluctantly.

Zed lays her down on his bed and takes a walk so he can look up at the sky, he wanted to know about her and why she was there, but it was clear that she didn't trust him at all.

"I finally found you," an icy voice fills his head, "Thank you for getting me out of there, earlier."

He turns around and sees her, "No problem..."

She relaxes a bit, her tails drop, "My name's Ahri, nice to meet you. Just some awkward circumstances to meet under, right?"

He laughs a bit, "Ah, yes I suppose you're correct. My name is Zed."

Ahri walks next to him and they walk in comfortable silence. Ahri was just waiting for him to ask her questions and Zed was waiting to think of those questions.

Zed decides to break the silence, "Ahri, why were you even in that garden?"

She smiles and looks up at the moon, "I lost someone I really loved, I wanted to forget about him but then I decided not to. It would be more painful forgetting about him than losing him."

"Then, who was he to you?" Zed screams internally at himself, he didn't want to pry and it was clear that she was still upset by that heartbreak so why was he even asking?

She giggles, "You're quite interested, aren't you?"

He flushes, "I'm sorry that seemed a bit-"

"No no, it's alright. He was my lover if you want to know."

Zed felt a pang of jealousy, she was drop-dead gorgeous, no one could deny that. Yet her heart belongs to another, how unfortunate. He mumbles something to himself and keeps his gaze on the moon, it was a nice night. A soft breeze kept the silence between them at least busy, it felt comfortable. For some reason, every second she spent here with him felt natural in a way, as if they had done something like this at some point.

"Hey, Zed?"

He looks at her, "Yeah?"

"Thank you," she smiles up at the moon but turns to him, "For saving me that is."

He felt his face flush a deep pink, "No problem."

She stands up, "Although, I do need to head back to my home eventually."

He nods, "My apologies for bringing you so far out, this was the only place I could think of running."

She giggles, "It's not a problem," she walks over to him leaning closer, "Again, thank you."

She kisses his forehead lightly, "Goodnight, Zed."

His face gets hot, so hot that it feels like his face is boiling, "Have a good evening, Ahri."

He blinked and when he opened his eyes again, she was gone.
