Fluff

Xayah and Rakan had been planning to see the blood moon since Akali had mentioned it, it was their tradition after all. Xayah and Rakan would see the blood moon every time it appeared to honor their love even though "bloody."

Xayah smiled a bit, she didn't like to admit I that this made her happy, "Are you excited for tonight?" Rakan asked.

Xayah snapped back into reality and shrugged, "A little, why?"

Rakan teases her, "Because every time you think about it you end up smiling, it's cute."

"I am not cute." Xayah met his eyes, "It's just something we do every year and it's something I've grown to... enjoy."

Rakan laughed and Xayah rolled her eyes containing her small grin. They had a few matches today and after that they could finally leave the League for their break.

Match #1 - Irelia, Sylas, Zed, Xayah, and Lulu

Match #2 - Renekton, Yi, Yasuo, Xayah, and Rakan

Match #3 - Kled, Elise, Malzahar, Xayah, and Rakan

Xayah sighed exhaustedly, ever since she had become more popular, she's had a lot more matches. Her recent nerfs didn't put her anywhere lower on the ADC chart so she was still in high demand.

"How was your day, Xayah?" Rakan always asked her this, it helped her wind down a bit.

She sighed sitting on their bed, "Tiring, but we can definitely still see the blood moon."

He smiled to her, "I heard you have a 57% win rate now."

She smiled back at him, "Yeah, I reached it."

Rakan always knew how to make her smile, "That's good."

He hopped out of bed and hugged her gently wrapping his feathers around her, "Rakannnnn."

He kept hugging her and she couldn't help but smile, "Your feathers are soft, Rakan."

He smiled into her hair a bit, "Thanks."

She giggled as he pulled away, "Oh? Is this Xayah smiling and having fun?"

"No!" Xayah hardened her facial expression again, "Maybe..."

They both laughed and Xayah settled back into bed.

...

Xayah groaned, "We could've just walked, the League is too protective of us, I swear."

Riot had given them a carriage to travel in, "I don't mind this, more energy to dance later."

"Do you always think of dancing?" Xayah asked already knowing the answer.

"Yup!" Rakan laughed, "It's like how you always think about killing."

Xayah laughed a bit and looked outside, it was a beautiful night. The stars glistened brightly. Rakan sat next to her admiring how her eyes shone with the stars reflection, he reminded her of a fire. Bright and vibrant, always moving in a way that is hardly understandable but still beautiful. Ruthless, but in control, like her fighting technique. It was elegant and lively.

The carriage stopped and Xayah and Rakan got out of the carriage. Rakan stopping to help her get out, Xayah laughed a bit and took his hand. They walked around and sat on a hilltop with the perfect view of the moon, the moon slowly turned red and Xayah sighed happily. She never wanted a lover nor thought she deserved one, she looked over to Rakan who was smiling happily. She blushed a bit and went back to looking at the moon. Rakan looked over to her and remembered how they met, he was dancing and she was the one he couldn't charm.

"Xayah?"

"Yeah?" She faced him.

He smiled, "Will you marry me today?"

"Ask me again tomorrow."

"I always do."
